4/10/22 - Hockey Game two days straight!! :)
More hockey thanks to my big sister and family! My son loved it. Two straight hockey games Let's go!!! Right in my own city, fantastic.
The arena had these cool Rugrats tickets. The players were wearing like Reptar/Nickelodeon themed jerseys. It was pretty fun.
It was one dollar day at the arena, so this box was a whopping $3!!! Nachos, a hot dog, and a container of popcorn! With this economy, deals like this may be a thing of the past.... We shall see!! I'm pretty broke, but even I could somewhat manage this. With a drink it was 4 bucks.
It's quite cool and yet surprising to see how passionate the fans were for their Royals. 2,500 (maybe more, can't quite remember) people on a Sunday afternoon game. The fans were yelling at the teams, and the ref, and just pretty loud. I liked the environment not going to lie!!! These fans speak their mind!
It was 1-1 before regulation ended. Free hockey!
The free hockey did not last forever though, just about eighteen seconds into OT the Royals got the game winning goal over Maine! The place erupted! The goal occurred on our side too. Thanks to my sis for the EPIC tickets.
Just a solid day. My son and I had a blast!! I'd love to take him to a baseball game or two this summer!
