LPGA Shanghai tournament has cancelled

The LPGA, scheduled for October 15-18, won the US World No. 2 Daniel Shanghai in Shanghai, but this has been refuted in view of current health concerns and significant travel restrictions.

This year, almost all leading international sporting events in China, including the WTA and ATP tennis, have tried to prevent imported virus cases.

This week’s leading women’s tour is the Scottish Open in North Berwick and the first major tour of the week, its bio safe bubble for the British Women’s Open in a trunk relocated to Scotland.
