I have run this game experiment for 2 rounds now round 3 coming soon. I wanted to do a deep dive and answer some FAQ

TLDR I will post this game a couple of times a month (for now) and players can participate by sending 3 HSBI to this account and in return they receive 4 HSBI. pretty simple

Why am I doing this?

1. I have HSBI goals for the year and giving away the units in this manner is actually cheaper for me

2. I genuinely believe in the HSBI program and want to help others get more units

3. I like doing random experiments like this especially when everyone benefits

How is giving away HSBI units cheaper for me?

Simple in the context of this game every 4 units I give away I receive 3, That means I purchase 4 units but recieve 7. Making it significantly cheaper in the long run than just purchasing 7 units on my own. Players get even better ratio as they purchase 3 and receive 4 in return.

Right now I am limiting it to 5 players per round which fits my budget. I may continue the game longer term or increase the player size moving forward but for now thats how it goes.

How to play

You may want to follow this account, i will put the prompt for the game in another pot. it's kind of random in terms of timing i have many severe chronic illnesses and can't commit to specific dares frequencies etc so people just kind of have to be on the look out i will include "HSBI round x" in the title of the posts that indicate the game is active.

Players that have played previous rounds will be tagged in the pot and invited to play again they do not have to play again, but they get first priority. then others can opt in by commenting, Those instructions will be in every post.

Trust is important

Since there has already been a few rounds people who are on the fence or skeptical can look on the blockchain or the sbi website and verify that I am in fact giving away the units as promised. Don't trust me -trust the blockchain database.

Trust is also why I am embedding the game in other posts to have things all on chain. Users can verify for themselves If I am doing what I say I am. That said I may take the game off chain or make other arrangements with some folks in the future but that's kind of a separate thing.

Since everything is on chain I have decided for the most part I won't answer comments that just imply or ask it this is a scam. Do the work yourself and verify. I am not here to coddle you. If you accuse me of scamming without evidence (there won't be any because I am not scamming) you will not be allowed to play the game. Why would you want to anyway if you believe it is a scam?

If you have a legit question or want clarification of course please ask but if your only questions is "is this a scam?" don't expect a response. I really don't have the energy to waste on that foolishness.

Skepticism is understandable but even if it were a scam do you think scammers would be like "yup it's a scam give me your money anyway" smh

If this game experiment becomes more popular and there is a waiting list I will likely use a random picker to choose names of participants each round if i can't expand and add more players. I want to be as fair as possible.

How to play

If you have played previously you will automatically be tagged when the game is active you can opt out at any time.

Players simply send 3 Hsbi uits to this account and post a proof image or blockchain url. Some players are exempt form posting proof because they have proven trust before. If i tell you that you personally don't need to post proof you don't but I sill need you to comment and tell me which account(s) to send the units to.

Tagged players can send right way, if you are not a tagged player but want to participate please leave a comment in the post first before sending the unit as right now the max players are 5 and I don't want people to send units before getting the initial ok from me first.

If for whatever reason you can't pariticipate in the current round and you were tagged just let me know so I can open that spot up for someone else. You don't have to play every round.

That said if you are tagged and haven't played a few rounds I will likely stop tagging you and you can opt in as a new player at any time. I will never force or coerce anyone into playing if they can't or don't want to but I do want to make sure those who do want to participate get a shot at it.

I don't expect many players each round for a little while because I don't have many followers and this is new. I'm ok with that. Every player helps me reach my goal and I am thankful even if only one person plays.

How is this game funded

By a combination of post earnings and potentially powering down HP. As well as my other crypto earnings. If i need to I will deposit more crypto into the Hive blockchain if need be to keep the game going but for now it's post earnings, curation. delegation payouts and other hive-engine earnings to fund the game.

Long term plans

Long term plans are up in the air. There are many factors at play here but as long as I am able to I want to keep this going in some capacity.

I also see this as an opportunity to help more people. I could simply just buy units for one of my alt accounts, but I want to help others too. I also allow players to choose up to 2 accounts to spilt their 4 units so they can potentially help others or help their own alt accounts. I am a firm believer in universal basic income in general.
