People who read my posts know that I play handball.
Before, they made a weekly season update post where I talked about what happened during the week, what the results of the games were, my opinion on the games and shared the championship standings.

Due to some personal issues, I stopped being so active on Hive and stopped making these posts. However, now that I have things under control again, I want to talk about my journey again, as I have been a federated handball player for 20 years.

So let's do a brief summary of the previous two seasons...

Season 2022/2023

This season we were unable to achieve our objective of moving up the division, so we remained in the 4th national division.

Season 2023/2024

This was a very successful season.
In addition to being regional champions without defeat, we managed to become national champions, the worst result we had was a draw.

Season 2024/2025

This season there were some changes at the club, starting with the entry of a new person to the management with the desire to make the club a reference and invest in its growth.

This year we changed coaches and had some players leave and join.
I was about to be one of those people who left, not for the club, but for myself because I'm already 34 years old and have two children (2 and 9 years old) and I have to give them more priority.
I had a very late meeting with the club, already in July, to agree on the number of training sessions that I would attend for both parties.

In the general overview, the team is stronger and better trained.

We are currently in 1st place in our group with half of the 1st phase games already played.

At this stage of the championship, the first two teams qualify.

Nothing is defined yet as there is still the entire 2nd round to go and currently the top three places are separated by 3 points.

We can only continue working to achieve our first objective, qualifying for the final stage where we can fight for promotion and the title of national champion of the 3rd division.
