Another week went by and another game I had to watch from the sidelines as I recovered from my surgery.
However, not everything is bad news, since next Friday (April 21st) I have an appointment with the doctor, and he may discharge me and let me go back to training and playing without having to use protection.

If this happens, it means that, if my coach wants it, I could be called up for Friday's game against Estrela Vigorosa Sport.

Speaking of coach, our head coach will be absent for some time as this Friday he was the FATHER of twin boys.
Since we play/train for the sport, and we are not paid and with my experience of being a father I told him to forget about handball a little and focus on his children and his wife who now needs a lot of support and help.

Although we “changed” the coach, now the assistant coach is the one who trains and manages the team, the team gave a positive response, having achieved another victory, which makes us continue in the fight for our goal of qualifying for the next phase.

It wasn't our best game at all.

We started losing 0-4 right at the beginning of the first half and the team made several mistakes mainly in the attack to the point of having 2 more players on the field and even so we couldn't score a goal.
It was in the last minutes of the first half that we managed to take the lead.

At halftime, we were up 15-13.

In the second half we started better and managed to increase our advantage to 6 goals difference, however the other team started to play a harder game and we at times did not know how to deal with it.

At the end of the second half, our opponent, in an act of desperation, started to defend the entire field man by man to see if he could make us lose the ball more quickly, and they were successful a few times, but it was never enough for them to win.

At the end of the game, the score was 31-28.
