OCD Sportstalk Incubation Curation Update

Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of the Sportstalk Incubation Update supported by @ocd. This is all about helping the tribe grow through added curation which is generously awarded to us via the ocd community.

The numbers is what we are after with weekly growth being very important as it shows what we are all doing is working. This is a community tribe effort
and is appreciated as a busy tribe attracts new members.

The stats this week are excellent showing whatever we are doing is reaping positive results.

Every figure is up from last week with the tribe gaining another 50 subscribers. Interactions or engagements and posting up a whopping 25%. Not surprisingly rewards are also way up by nearly $500. We smashed this week out the park and it is all down to the community.

Funny as this is in a week when Hive dropped in value which normally means less activity. The truth we all know is active users who stay busy no matter the price will always come out on top as this is the best time to grow.

Maybe your post rewards have dropped in dollar value but the Hive earned on posts will normally rise. This is the opportunity all users should be saying thank you for as I certainly am. My biggest growth period was when Hive was under 40c so this is not exactly close to that now, but still a great time to grow.

This week we are up on posts sent through for extra curation with the #legends tag certainly being popular. The set topic certainly helps with more original content coming through the sportstalk feed and far better than reworked news stories we already know.

Just to keep you up to date with the figures there were 20 posts submitted with one bad egg who made it through and had his rewards removed. Thanks to @leedsunited who was quick to pick that up. This is a great help as we don't need bad actors trying to fool the system as checking everyone is a thankless task consuming hours of work.

The curation is here to support everyone old and new so don't try and con your way through if you are blacklisted. Rather fix that situation than cheat your way as it is easy enough to spot the bad actors. many of the older users have been on Hive for over 4 years and can spot things as they have seen it all before.

This week we will keep the #legends tag going and add another one being your worst sporting memory. I think the tag #sportingdisaster covers that nicely and I am sure we have many skeletons in our lockers for this topic.

This week we had 2 new competitions running which helps with the engagement on the platform. As you can see the busier the tribe the more subscribers are attracted to join which is what we all want. @edprivat and @talesfrmthecrypt have stuck up their hands with running these contests along with our old friend @leedsunited with his football guess the score game. Please join in with everything that is available and don't forget the sports quiz is out again this Monday. @talesfrmthecrypt is hosting that particular one and is loads of fun.

Positive thought here hoping for another big week all round as we are all making a big difference. When a tribe is growing as fast as we are we need to keep doing the things we love doing.

If any new users are struggling with Resource Credit having low Hive Power drop a comment and that can be sorted out very quickly. We are all here to help so don't be afraid to ask if you are unsure on anything. We were all new at one point in time so this is sometimes quite challenging to understand everything.
