I've got some screech owls in the neighborhood and I've really been enjoying watching them kind of come and go over the past couple of weeks. They're really cool little guys. Occasionally we hear owls in the trees next to our house. I enjoy hearing them. I think its good when they come around because I think they must be taking care of rodents in the area. They don't come around often which means we must not have many rodents in the wooded areas next to the house. Which is fine by me.
Yes, owls are just super cool, as well as good at getting rid of rodents. These little screech owls are so cute. They just sit there and check you out, then seem to fall asleep. Guess they're resting up for the night hunt.
