Still not that much going right with the world cup bets so far and I'm hoping for things to just turn around at this point as variance for sure has been against me even though I also can't say that so far I would have deserved to make a profit. The good thing is that I kept my stakes to a minimum.

Argentina vs Saudi Arabia

Argentina is unbeaten for 36 matches winning 19 out of the last 22 but that statistic is of not much use when given 1.14 odds and a -2.25 handicap. Saudi Arabia looking at their results most of the time have very low-scoring games which makes me kind of lean toward the Under 3.25 line as these matches rarely end up as easy as it shows on paper for the big favorite. The problem with unders right now is that matches pretty much take 110 minutes with the high amount of extra time. No Pre-Game Bets

Denmark vs Tunesia

Denmark has a really solid qualifier period and they reached the half final in the European Championship. Potential reference matches for this encounter against Tunisia who are ranked #40 is the fact that they were without chance against Brasil losing 4-1 after 40 minutes just before they took a red card while Denmark managed to win twice from France. I ended up taking a 0.1 unit bet on Denmark 1st Half -0.25 @ 1.840 and might look to take a bit more in-game if the match picture looks good.

Mexico vs Poland

Mexico is one of those countries who are capable of the best or the worst while Poland mostly counts on Lewandowski despite his age. For both these teams losing would be deadly as they are in the group with Argentina on paper fighting for the 2nd place in there are no major surprises. This likely will cause them to be overly cautious which also reflects in the total line as it is set at 2 goals. Poland did put up good results against Denmark and France in their most recent matches. Purely based on that I would lean toward them as the underdog but it's nowhere near strong enough in order to also take a bet. No Pre-Game Bets

France vs Australia

This is another one of those matches where on paper it looks like an easy walkover as France has all the star names in their team while the best player of Australia likely is their goalkeeper Ryan. These matches don't aways work out that way though and France also has not had the best results only winning 3 out of their 8 matches so far this year. I do expect motivation to be a factor that highly increases the chance for France to actually play at there best today which got me tempted to take a tiny 0.05 unit pre-game bet on France -1.5 @ 1.863
