Playoffs Week 4 Sunday Previews

Mixed results yesterday with an overall small profit of +0.118 units and 4 more matches to be played on Sunday which I'm getting into right now...

Cercle Brugge vs Antwerp

Cercle Brugge so far took a win and 2 draws in Playoff 1 of which 2 matches easily could have been a loss so they have been rather fortunate. Nobody really enjoys playing against this team and Antwerp who started the playoffs with 3 losses are with their head already in the Cup match. This is a big problem for them as they are just not going to have the winning mindset when that is played. They are 3 points behind on 5th place which will grant a final chance to get an European ticked with a match likely against AA Gent in case they lose the Cup Final. Cercle is in that 5th place now and they are 3 points ahead. Losing for Antwerp would be quite devastating so I don't expect an approach from both teams where they fully go for it taking big risks at the start. In the previous encounter, Antwerp won 1-3 which started as a slow match with Antwerp in control and I also expect an underish 1H this match. I took a 0.4 unit position on 1H Under 1 @ 2.111 with an eye to possibly reduce exposure along the way hoping there is no early goal. I also took 0.2 units on Antwerp +0.5 @ 1.740 as a draw isn't a bad result for both and overall I still see Antwerp as the team with more quality.

Kv Kortrijk vs RWDM

Kortrijk took a huge blow last week with a last-second loss against Charleroi now making it an 8-point gap instead of a 5-point gap while they dropped to 3th place 2 behind RWDM who they play against today. These matches tend to be very nervous with poor overall quality. The lines seem to be set around fair valuations with a -0.25 home favorite and a 2.5 line and I'm staying away from this one for now. No Pre-Game Bets

Union vs Club Brugge

Union really got hit by the hammer and seem to have lost their winning ways starting these playoffs with 3 losing matches dropping back in 2nd place with now 4 teams who are back in the title race. Club Brugge had a busy schedule but they are in a good streak after qualifying for the Conference League Semi Finals. They are also coming off clear wins against Antwerp and Anderlecht. The main question remains how much fatigue will be an issue. Usually, during good streaks this tends to be much less of an issue. I was willing to take the risk and took just 0.2 units on Club Brugge +0.25 @ 2.003 & also 0.07 units on Club Brugge Team Total Over 1.5 @ 2.730 as Union has a hard time to keep clean sheets while Brugge scores quite easily lately.

Charleroi vs Eupen

Charleroi had a huge relief last week win a last-second win over Kortrijk which puts them 6 points clear of RWDM with 12 more points to be won. However, the play of Charleroi still was just not good enough for them to start today without any worry. Eupen so far got a very lucky draw away against Kortrijk and lost away against RWDM with 3-1 which was an exaggerated score because of many penalties. Charleroi should be the team today with more quality but I need to see it actually confirmed before I'm willing to bet them as the favorite. No Pre-Game Bets
