Playoffs Week 4 Saturday Previews

The final week of the 2nd division yesterday was fun to watch but I did make a small loss on it. All 3 Playoff 2 matches will be played on Saturday

The current playoff 2 standings show that both Mechelen and Charleroi are the 2 teams with most ambition left while it looks like the others don't have too high motivation even though they by no means are out yet.

OH Leuven vs Dender

Dender started surprisingly well at home but were nowhere showing no signs of motivation on their following away match. The match at home last week was average ending in a 1-1 so it's hard to see them motivated today even though I'm quitesure that their coach does want a good performance. OHL has had a very grey season with many draws and their coach must make his team do something to keep his position. They play at home and still are in the running. I do see OHL as the favorite today despite all the draws and was willing to take 0.1 unit each on OHL -0.25 @ 1.844 / OHL 1H -0.25 @ 2.257 / OHL 1H Corners -0.5 @ 1.940

Charleroi vs Kv Mechelen

This is the battle between the 2 main contenders and even though they both kind of want to play forward, at the same time caution might be king today. I do see Charleroi as the team with more quality but at the same time don't trust them fully. This one could go both ways and I'm not comfortable to take any bets as the odds seem about right. Might be a good spot to take some line bets. A draw would keep the satus quo. No Pre-Game Bets

Standard vs Westerlo

Standard all season has been defensive and overall not good enough. so far in playoff 2 they had 1-1 / 1-0 / 2-2 scores with the last one at home against Mechelen where the number of goals was exaggerated. It does look like they at least want to play a bit more forward but finishing chances remains hard. Westerlo has been an over team who does play forward and take quite some goals also. Both teams are 1 point apart and a win likely would be needed if they still want to be in contention for playoff 2. That is one of the main questions as I'm not sure either actually want to play extra matches. I have a small lean on the over and Westerlo as the underdog but I'm not willing to oppose Standard on the under or at home which always is a positive factor for them. I do have a small lean also on the over in corners as I do see both teams at least with intentions to go forward and some of their matches had a really high count. I might take a small stab at that in case odds on a high handicap go up a lot in the first minutes or if the match picture looks good. For now, No Pre-Game Bets
