Playoffs Week 3 Sunday Previews

Saturday was one where both the pre-game bets won but I still managed to make a loss which came down to an unfortunate goal given away by Genk who always should have won. I'm also missing out on the playoff 2 overs as both those matches went to 6 and 5 goals. The lines are now also getting more adjusted. 4 matches on Sunday to have a look at...

Club Brugge vs Antwerp

Club Brugge showed good form last week against Anderlecht despite having 3 key missing. They are however in between quarter finals of the Conference League which is something that is bound to have a negative influence. In that match they were better but failed to finish it off already now having a difficult task ahead next Thursday. Olsen is injured but aside from that they are pretty complete. Antwerp so far has lost both of their matches with 1-0 and seem to be with their heads already in the cup final match and they need to flip a mental switch as these bad results will have a negative influence on their cup match. They are at 26 points and 4 points behind on Club Brugge so a win is needed to close the gap. In this match I don't want to bet Club Brugge because of the European match and I don't really want to bet Antwerp because their head seems to be with the cup and they don't have the best form. No Pre-Game Bets

Kortrijk vs Charleroi

Kortrijk was the better team away against Eupen last week but they failed to win keeping it at a draw. They are 2 Points behind on RWDM for the 2nd spot and 5 behind on Charleroi. A win could put them fully back again in the race to be saved but a loss will make it into a fight just for 2nd pace. Charleroi continues to not impress with another poor performance and were only really able to create corners last week. on paper they should have a team that should not get in trouble but reality just shows it differently. The nerves on their end after failing to win last week will be high and I expect another just poor match. Most likely this will be a boring Playoff 3 match where both teams are not willing to take any risk while not having the quality to make much difference offensively. I took just 0.15 units on 1H Under 1 @ 1.901. I also have a small lean on Kortrijk as the underdog and might take a small bet if I can get 1.8+ odds on the +0.25 line.

Anderlecht vs Union

Union really got hit hard by the hammer on their head with the halving of the points as teams who were 20+ points behind now are within 5 points making it so that there are 4 title contenders. I can't say they were bad in the 2 matches they lost so far but the Union magic seemed to be gone putting them in a form crisis. Anderlecht were lucky to win against Antwerp and stood no chance against Club Brugge even though a month before in the same match they impressed for the first time really making them a title contender. Honestly, I have no clue what to expect from this one and the form of the day will be the most important factor. I need to get a grip on that first before considering taking any bets. No Pre-Game Bets

OH Leuven vs AA Gent

AA Gent remains the main contender to win playoff 2 even though they now only have 1 points advantage on Mechelen with the match of today to be played. They come off a 5-1 win against Standard nad a 0-3 win against Westerlo with good confidence and form while OHL lost 2-3 to Mechelen and took just a 0-0 draw against Standard. The only 2 options for me to bet in this match are Gent and the Over. I do expect AA Gent to take all the initiative at the start and OHL to lure on the counters. This makes me want to take the AA Gent 1H corners bet the most. For now, I'm just waiting this one out. No Pre-Game Bets
