This is the final week of the playoffs with 3 playoff 2 matches played at the same time on Saturday and 3 playoff 1 matches on Sunday along with 1 playdown match. I don't expect too much action as everything will be played at the same time but It should be some fun. 3 Matches with absolutely nothing to play for Today...

AA Gent vs Stvv

So AA Gent has 1 important match left away against a playoff 1 team. Today, they should play with the best team that they can with Kums injured and likely no risks taken with De Sart, Tussoudali, & Kandouss while are on the verge of suspension. It will also be the last home match of Coach Vanhaezebroeck and some players & staff members. There is also a motivation for the home team to get in a better form as they haven't always convinced during the playoffs. However, Kums, De Sart & Tissoudali out will have an impact in the offense. Stvv is without a loss in their last 4 matches and usually start the match rather defensively to give it a go near the end of the match depending on the scoreline. They also haven't always played their A-Squad so final line-up might be important. They are without Key player Steuckers and many players who likely will leave not willing to pick up injuries. There is not 1 strong narrative that I'm willing to take a gamble on in this match. No Pre-Game Bets

OH Leuven vs Westerlo

In any team has shown that they are capable of playing with motivation even with nothing to play for, it has been OHL. They are coming off 2 wins and a draw now playing their final match at home. I do expect them to continue this trend today especially since it's their last match at home in front of their fans. Westerlo has been a mess especially defensively and are without a single win (not counting the forfait of Standard). They haven't had a single match that went below 2 goals and 4 that went to 4+ goals. I see the chance bigger in this one that it turns out in a crazy high scoring playoff 2 match compared to an end of season match where both teams don't care anymore. I'm backing the trend with a 0.3 unit bet on OH Leuven -0.25 @ 1.837. Westerlo on average has 12.75 corners in each playoff match. However, OHL on average only had 8.4. I'm leaning toward the over but will need to see the play first in order to back it with some confidence.

Kv Mechelen vs Standard

This is another match with nothing to play for aside from Mechelen pleasing their home fans which I believe they will try to do. Standard showed last week that they are currently a total mess losing at home with 1-4 to AA Gent mainly failing in the 2nd half similar to the 3-1 loss against OHL the week before where they gave it away in the 2nd half. I would not be surprised to see a similar scenario today in Mechelen. Because of this, I see more of an edge to possibly get some bets in-game. I also like Mechelen on the 1H corners potentially as I do see them as the team that should take all the initiative from the start. The odds however right now aren't high enough for me. No Pre-Game Bets
