Playoffs Week 1 Results | 11W-21L-6P | -0.475 Units Loss

This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

Since the 2021-2022 Regular Season ended, I moved up my stakes that the units represent by +25% which feels very comfortable as I can more that handle the expected ups and downs that come along with betting. Often times moving up in stakes comes after a hot period followed by some regression to the mean which cuts in double as hard. I'm not overly concerned with that as I'm making a separate graph starting over in my record keeping as I do each year. Week 1 however did end in a loss of around half a unit.

There aren't really all too many matches left to be played but I'm enjoying each one of them were in the past I would have been a bit burned out by now. I'm taking it 1 match and 1 bet at a time trying to find spots where I believe there is an edge and I'll see how it plays out. The Belgian Cup bets are also part of the results this week

Pre-Game Preview Bets Playoffs 2021-2022

I did have 6 pre-game bets shared in the previews & on Discord including 1 nice position where I took the gtd profit before the match was played. These bets combined resulted in a slight profit so at least there is that. I will merge the results of the last 2 season once the playoffs are over and continue to build a larger sample next year.

I'm done with Copytip and am in the process of just withdrawing my remaining funds there which is somewhat of a hassle as Bank witdrawals are no longer available for Belgium. It's just too hard to find bets I'm highly confident it that also have the required limits for me to bet enough without crashing the line. All bets (92) taken there with flat stakes while I was active on the platform resulted in +8.24% ROI. I will continue to share most of my bets on my blog and on the SBC Discord Channel the moment I get into them for those who are interesed.

The chart starts over for the playoffs and has no real volume yet which means it will get very choppy based on short-term results. I did however manage to get quite some bets in and overall absolute volume for sure went up as my stakes increased by +25%. I also didn't decrease the average units which I kind of did at the start of this season compared to the last one as my stakes increased by +60%
