I'm quite pleased with how the European matches played out betting-wise as I ended up with around +0.4 units profit picking the right spots despite the matches not all playing out as I expected over 90 minutes. The league continues today with week 5 where there will only be 7 matches instead of 9 since 2 are played at a later date to give teams that play the European Playoffs a better preparation. 1 match as always on Friday.
AS Eupen vs Seraing
This match is so low profile that it isn't even mentioned in the newspaper today so no line-ups. Seraing is last in the league with 4 losses so far and only 1 goal scored getting 7 against. They clearly are the worst team of the league and mainly focussed on the defense bringing nearly nothing offensively themselves. They are 0W-4L against the asian handicap, rank lowest in the table I'm keeping tracking team form with a 4.7 on average the last 3 games, only created 8 corners in 4 matches while getting 19 against, and rank lowest on average shots on target at 2.5. Something I regretted in the past was not to just blindly opposing bad teams regardless of the opponent or situation not overthinking it. That is what I did early on with a 0.43 unit bet on Eupen -0.5 @ 1.805 which I already took last week the moment the odds were released. Eupen are currently 16th in the league with 3 losses and 1 win. They have had a difficult schedule so far including matches against Club Brugge, Racing Genk, & Antwerp and they actually showed some good things being willing to go for it with Striker Prevljak in good form. So overall I see them as under-rewarded based on what they have shown and their overall form (6.7 average in last 3 games). They did not put up the best performance in their frist match against Charleroi and might actually look better against good teams. Most likely, this will turn into another match where Seraing just looks to go home for a draw putting everything in defense with Eupen over the 90 Minutes coming out on top of it as they are the better team and play at home. I also added 0.155 units on Eupen 1st Half -0.25 @ 1.951 and took 0.236 units on Eupen 1st Half Corners -0.5 @ 1.700 and 0.16 units on Eupen FT Corners -1.5 @ 1.880. I also have some crypto bets running over at Wink.org with 1000 TRX on Eupen -0.5 @ 1.800 / 750 TRX on Eupen 1H Corners -1.5 @ 2.410 / 250 TRX on Eupen 1H Corners -2.5 @ 3.850. I'm still having some room left to get into live bets.
