Not all too much action during the mid-week but I did manage to make a small profit with some live bets. Week 4 of the Regular Season is here already starting with an interesting match tonight between Union and Charleroi.

Union SG vs Charleroi

Union only managed to put up a solid performance in the Super Cup when they were still riding on the trend of last season. However, in the league they took 4 on 9 while they didn't manage to reach the playoff round of the champions League with performances that have gone downhill. Without the Striker Duo Amoura/Nilson they have had a harder time to create chances which again showed again Slavia while in the defense they are without Burgess and Sykes which also shows. There are some Rumours that the players don't like the coaching style of new coach Pocognoli and that he might already be replaced if things go wrong tonight. Puertas who is of vital importance to the team is which showed at times he was taken off is looking to make a transfer as is said to have an agreement with an English club, so it's unsure if he will play tonight. All of this leaves union in a place where for the first time in years they now struggle. Charleroi so far this season has been improving with a poor 1st match against Antwerp but an excellent performance away against Stvv which was followed by another close but deserved win against AA Gent. Especially in the away match against Stvv they were willing to go forward from the start. I would assume that today they opt for a more caution approach. Given the situations, I had to oppose Union at the high handicap they were given as too often I see home wins by a small margin and Charleroi not without chance to take the outright win. I took 0.25 units on Charleroi +1 @ 2.002, 0.1 unit on Charleroi +0 @ 4.141 along with 0.1 unit on Charleroi 1H +0.25 @ 2.157 and 0.05 units on Charleroi +0.5 @ 1.803. The odds by now moved quite a bit to the point where I might reduce exposure a bit near game time or early on in the match.
