A bit more profit yesterday from the Conference League match of Antwerp and week 4 in the league that is about to get underway tonight. I already have shared 4 early pre-game bets in the SBC Discord for this week on Genk -0.5 @ 1.840 (0.3 units) / Genk 1st Half -0.25 @ 1.990 (0.2 units) / Charleroi -0.5 @ 1.930 (0.5 units) / Kortrijk +1.25 @ 1.920 (0.4 units) all taken on Sportmarket Pro and more bets are likely incoming over the weekend.

Kv Oostende vs AA Gent

AA Gent has been in a difficult spot somewhat similar to their bad period last season. Luck hasn't been on their side and they have been hit with a lot of injuries that include some key players. They however managed to take the win last week coming back from 0-1 behind at home against Westerlo. Many of their younger players showed signs of fatigue near the end. The Weather is really hot these day here in Belgium which possibly could be a factor even though the game is played in the evening. Some players like Depoitre & Odidja will return from injury but they are unlikely to play 9 minutes. Overall, AA Gent is not a team that I like to fade but at the same time right now might not yet be the time to back them. Oostende last week took a 1-3 win away against Charleroi after taking a 2-1 win against Kv Mechelen. I would argue that they have been overly rewarded with a 6 on 9 even though they have shown very good work ethic and tactics being very efficient offensively. They are a team I consider backing as the underdog against smaller teams. The 0.75 handicap feels quite correct for tonight so I will be staying away and wait to see what the match brings in-game.
