Some ok profit yesterday in the match between Antwerp and Cercle Brugge while I totally stayed away from the match between Eupen and Oostende. Today is the final day of the regular season and all 7 matches are played at once with many clear big favorites that all got hit on the betting market so it will be quite hard and I don't expect all that much betting action. Here are previews on each of the matches...

Club Brugge vs KV Mechelen

Club Brugge is on a 7-game winning streak and still can use the points with an eye on playoff 1 as they are 5 behind on Union. Mechelen has their playoff 2 spot locked and also can use points for that as it works with the same system as playoff 2. Club Brugge only managed to keep a clean sheet in 2 of their 7 won matches while Mechelen who only lost 1 match of their last 10 managed to score at least once in all of them. It's not that Club Brugge impressed that much during their winning streak often just being faced against poor opponents while Mechelen for sure is capable. I see the current line as too high even though I do see Club Brugge in the end as the winner not unlikely by 2 goals even. I would not be surprised to see Mechelen score and took a 0.15 unit bet on Club Brugge To Win & Both To Score @ 2.462. If the +2 line on Mechelen reaches 1.70+ I most likely will also take some on that. I also could not resist tiny 0.05 unit bets on both 2-1 correct score @ 9.792 & 2-0 correct score @ 9.216.

AA Gent vs OH Leuven

AA Gent kind of got screwed last week with an offside goal which most likely will cost them a spot in playoff 1. All they can do now is win against OHL and hope Anderlecht loses points away against Kortrijk. OHL has nothing left to play for and have not won a match in their last 6 games. Only 2 of them went over 2.5 while in the past they had plenty of crazy high-scoring games. Gent should be the better team keeping home the win but it remains a match that needs to be played and I'm not jumping on a -2 line. OHL hasn't lost an away corners matchup by 4 or more in their last 8 matches while AA Gent only managed to do this at home once this season. If there is an opening offense of AA Gent where they create a bunch of corners and score the first goal, I might opt for OHL+ corners handicap. For now, No Pre-Game bets

Kv Kortrijk vs Anderlecht

Anderlecht has been quite impressive and I would even say they could be a title contender. Last week they created 11 attempts on target against Charleroi getting 0 against winning with a 4-0 score. Kortrijk is on a 5-game losing streak and only won 1 of their last 13 matches against Zulte-Waregem. They are safe and have nothing left to play for while a win for Anderlecht is a must. I once again expect Anderlecht to put up a good performance not waiting around dominating the match early on trying to make the difference in the 1st half. I did get an early 0.3 unit bet in on Anderlecht 1st Half -0.5 @ 2.070 which by now is down to 1.826 on Pinnacle. Kortrijk also lost all 7 of their last corner matchups going a total of 17- 54 and Anderlecht on the corners 1st half will be something I also keep an eye out for. In the end the match still needs to be played and nerves for Anderlecht might be a factor.

Seraing vs Racing genk

Genk took a 5-0 win against Eupen last week and a match where they didn't really impress. They do need a win or a draw today against Seraing unless Sint-Truiden loses at home against Standard. Seraing themselves are doomed to a play-down match against a 2nd division team and they are unbeaten in their last 3 matches. My lean for sure is on Seraing +2 which is quite a big line at home. Genk has been a team that doesn't really push after taking the lead and the 5-0 last week is somewhat of an anomaly in that regard. Genk also needs to win which might cause some nerves and their overall performances haven't heen that impressive as of late. I could not resiste a 0.25 unit bet on Seraing +2 @ 1.810. If Genk takes the lead I might opt for an extra bet on Seraing + corners as they perform quite well on those.

Charleroi vs Zulte-Waregem

Charleroi is not safe yet for their playoff 2 spot as a loss while Genk and Stvv win their matches would still put them back to the 9th spot. Zulte-Waregem had a realy tricky season and only secured their stay last week despite taking a 0-2 loss at home against Stvv. Their season can be summed up in not good enough yet still being a profitable team while betting them against the asian handicaps especially away. Charleroi lost their last match with 4-0 against Anderlecht but won the match before with 5-0 against Cercle Brugge. It is hard to really get a good grasp on them. Motivation might be an issue for Zulte-Waregem but on the other hand being safe might be a relief. Taking the side of Zulte is pretty much my only real option in this match even though I'm not sure that I'm willing to take the risk. For now I will just stay away and see how it goes in-game.No Pre-Game Bets

Union vs Beerschot

The difference between these teams couldn't have been bigger this season. Union won the regular season while Beerschot was last all season long. Union needs points with an eye on Playoff 1 while Beerschot has absolutely nothing to play for in their last match in the 1st League. Union reached a good form again and they will have Vanzeir back in the team being able th field the A-Squad. Anything but a clear home win would be a big surprise and the -2.25 doesn't leave any room to actually bet this match knowing Union has kind of struggled at home. The line forces me to stay away so No Pre-Game Bets

Sint-Truiden vs Standard

Sint-Truiden is on a great streak and still have a shot at playoff 2 likely falling short even if they would win this match. They are unbeaten in their last 8 matches mainly thanks to their good defense only getting 4 goals against. Standard on the other hand has been just plain bad this season and have nothing left to play for. It still remains a match that needs to be played and I'm not comfortable with the -0.5 line on Stvv pre-game so I will wait it out and see how the match goes before possibly getting in. My main lean would be Standard team total Under 1 but Stvv will need to leave some space if they aren't in the lead later down the line so I will skip. No Pre-Game Bets
