Jupiler League Week 34 Saturday Previews

This is the last week of the regular Season with mainly a fight left for the 4th spot in Playoff 1 between Anderlecht and AA Gent. I did already take an early 0.3 unit bet on Anderlecht 1st Half -0.5 @ 2.070 shared on the SBC Discord and a preview on that will follow tomorrow. By now the odds have come down to 1.882 on pinnacle so good value for those that got it at the time when it was posted.

2 Matches with nothing left to play for today...

Eupen vs Oostende

This is a match between the 15th in the league with 32 points and the 14th with 34 points and nothing really left to play for. Eupen got trashed last week by Genk who didn't even play that impressive while Oostende played a 2-2 draw against Seraing putting their stay in the league safe for another year. I'm honestly not sure what to expect from this match as the last 10 matches from these teams combined only produced 1 win. Oostende coach Vanderhaege traditionally plays more defensively away but with nothing left to play for the motivation is just hard to estimate. I'm just going to sit back and see how it plays out before potentuially getting a position in. No reason to force anything so No Pre-Game Bets

Antwerp vs Cercle Brugge

Antwerp pretty much lucked their way into playoff 1 and are sure of their spot regardless what happens in the other games. They put up another poor performance last week yet again winning with a 0-1 score away against OHL. Cercle Brugge on the other hand took a late 2-2 draw against Gent who were the better team in an emotional match because of Van Damme. They have been playing quite strong putting up good performances for a while now and the main question will be their moitivation today. My lean without a doubt is on Cercle Brugge who I currently see having a better form and the odds are very tempting. I don't see why Cercle would not want to finish this season strong. They have been a good away 1st half team also while Antwerp failed to win the 1st half in their last 5 home games. I took 0.2 units on Cercle Brugge 1st Half +0.25 @ 1.826 and 0.15 units on Cercle brugge +0.5 @ 1.952. I will also keep an eye out on Cercle Team Total over for an in-game bet.
