Another day where I mostly had smaller positions and 1 somewhat bigger one which ended up losing. I'm still up slightly on the week with still quite some action to go in 4 matches on Sunday...
Genk vs OH Leuven
Genk has been in a dip with only 1 win in their last 5 matches at home against Oostende and their lead now has dropped to 3 points. They didn't actually play that badly, especially at home and mostly just miss Onuachu as a scoring striker. The handicap and odds on the betting market however seem to have been adjusted already largely to the situation. OHL right now is 11 th with no danger to relegate and no real hope to reach playoff 2 so they basically have nothing to play for. They have been playing ok recently but nothing more than that. One if their players Kiyine made a horror crash with his car which was all over the news as he easily could have killed a bunch of kids. While he's fine, it will without a doubt be a factor in the team that was on the players their mind. I do see Genk winning this match and some value on the scenario where it will be difficult with with OHL also getting in their goal. I took just 0.1 unit as an initial bet on
Correct Score 2-1 @ 9.015 and I will see how it will go in-game with potentially more bets.
Eupen vs Anderlecht
Eupen is still fighting against relegation being 3 points clear of Zulte-Waregem & Oostende now with an extra match to play so they can do a really good deal today if they get at least a draw. They haven't been great lately especially on the defensive end getting 13 goals against in their last 5 matches while they did manage to score 7 themselves. Anderlecht on the other hand has played well lately which for a big part came from Verschaeren having excellent form and their defense with Verbruggen-Vertongen-Debast showing good quality. Verschaeren did pick up a heavy injury and will likely be out for 9+ months which is a huge blow for them. With all the teams around them fighting for the last playoff 2 spot, they are obligated to take the 3 points today. The fact that Anderlecht is missing Verschaeren and Eupen is in a situation where taking points would be a massive deal without it coming with too much stress of losing makes me stay away from this one for now as it's hard to predict how this match will play out for me.
No Pre-Game Bets
Mechelen vs Club Brugge
Mechelen is safe in 13th place 9 points clear of a relegation place and have nothing really to play for anymore. They mainly play well at home even though they barely beat the asian lines there and disappoint away from home where they got crushed. They do have a lot of injured players today including their 1st goalkeeper. Club Brugge is in full fight of playoff 1 and they took a surprise loss the week before the international break against Kortrijk showing that their problems aren't fixed yet. They did however get the chances but lack finishing quality right now. A win and only a win will do for them today as they are 4 points behind at the moment on a playoff 1 spot. So the main question is how both team will present themselves today. It's hard to bet against Mechelen at home where they are without a loss in their last 5 while it's also hard to really trust Club Brugge who just haven't reached their best form in a while. I do expect goals but at the same time don't as Club Brugge has shown to have issues scoring. So also on this match I will just wait and see what the in-game match picture shows before potentially getting something in.

Union vs Sint-Truiden
Union has been on a good streak with 3 wins in a row each of those with a 2-1 score. They have a solid team that is quite reliable in their performances so it very much can be expected for them to be the better team today. Stvv hasn't been the best lately with many matches that have a similar scenario with them mainly defending and creating little to nothing to eventually make a mistake and lose the match by 1 goal. They no longer have anything to play for and nearly all players will leave next season. I did take 0.2 units on the most straightforward
Union -1 @ 1.853 bet and might look to increase on this stake in-game. Stvv tends to start delaying the first goal they get against for quite some time and they are without a loss in a 1st half away in their last 5 matches.
