Saturday was more or less damage limited as most of the matches didn't fully go the way anticipated or needed them to go. Still around break-even on the week now with 4 matches left
Antwerp vs Club Brugge
Antwerp at home is playing on a great pitch which should help the match today. They are in an ok form but at the same time not spectacular. the last time they played good team at home (in the cup vs Union) they totally got played away my main worry is their recent xg against which is at 2.45 over the last 4 matches making them the worst team there. They are also not too high on xg created at 1.20. Over the last 3 matches, these teams had a total of 3.65 & 3.51xg. Club Brugge is in a good flow and they managed to qualify for the next Champions League round. They have a wide enough player base to not have too much issues with the many matches and I just expect them to be sharp today as they do need the point in the hunt for the championship. Oftentimes, you can see the winner of the match by looking at the bench and today this is very much in favor of Club Brugge. I cautiously opted in on Club Brugge taking 0.2 units on
Club Brugge 1H -0.25 @ 1.940 as they generally remain a good 1H team and also 0.1 unit on
Both To Score @ 1.751 as Club Brugge does get goals against generally. The start of the match likely will make things a lot clearer how it's going to play out.
Union SG vs Stvv
Union lost against Rangers away and the main question today is how fatigue possibly will play a role. The thing is though that Union is back in good form with 4 good wins in a row in the league. They also have close to their full squad available. Stvv is a team that should have enough quality but their results recently have not been best but they have a relatively easy schedule ahead so I don't expect any relegations nerves today. A point for them would be great and 3 points an unexpected surprise. I do expect them to crawl back and play on the counter today away against Union. In their last 2 away matches they lost the 1H corners with 4-0 and 5-2 while Union won their corners with 5-1 and 2-2 (against Club Brugge). I'm leaning toward union 1H corners but am waiting for possible better odds or a better line. Union are 2nd best at xg created at 2.13 in the last 4 games while they are crushing the xg against at just 0.48 in the last 4. So far, I only was willing to take 0.05 units each on

AA Gent vs Anderlecht
My main angle right now on Anderlecht is the over as they rarely have matches where they are 90 Minutes focused and tend to get goals against too easily while they do have the quality to score goals. AA Gent with a new coach did not change much last week and they remain a team that simply lacks the needed overall quality. I kind of get how this could be a match where AA Gent is super motivated while Anderlecht who played in Europe and lowt 3-4 against a Hoffenheim B-Squad. At the same time, I see Anderlecht as a team with more quality and a capability to score goals, So I took 0.2 units on
Anderlecht +0 @ 2.609 as I see those odds as just too high and it not as unlikely for Anderlecht to simply be better. I also took 0.2 units on
Anderlecht Team Total Over 1 @ 1.830. Anderlecht also generally has done well in away matches against their asian handicap going 6W-3.5L-1.5P . I also would not be surprised if this turned out into a crazy match and took 0.1 unit on
Over 3.5 @ 3.009. All with the option to add more in-game.
Kortrijk vs Westerlo
Kortrijk managed to take a draw last week away against Club Brugge which should give them some confidence going into this one. They also enforced their team with Ilaimaharitra and Ilic in goal. However, they are still 2nd last and 4 points behind on Westerlo and Kortrijk still based on quality is a bottom 2 Team I would say along with Beerschot. Westerlo intrinsically has more quality but they are getting always just dumb goals against which also puts them in the danger zone and in need for a win. So this is a real relelagtion battle with a lot on the line for both teams. Westerlo really needs a win to not lose more ground and fully shake off Kortrijk while Kortrijk needs a win to still give them a chance to end only 3rd or 4th last in the standing to stay in 1st division. So I expect nerves to be quite high and often in these types of matches that leads to a poor quality 1st half. I'm just going to wait it out and see in this one. I have a lean toward Kortrijk odds being set too high as a win would not surprise me while on the other hand Westerlo if they are capable of playing a good match (which is not guaranteed by any means) could take a fairly easy win.
