So far so good this week with some ok profit in the European matches even though it easily could have also been a loss. 3 Matches as always on Saturday to have a look at...

Charleroi vs Dender

Charleroi played a mediocre match last week on a bad heavy pitch taking a 1-1 draw against Cercl Brugge. They haven't really found a good form and are without a win in the last 3 matches never scoring more than 1 goal also being in the at the bottom over the last 4 matches in terms of xg Cresated at just 0.92 average. Dender is just 2 places higher at 1.13 goals created and 1.07 on average over the season. Dender also isn't in the best form without a win in their last 3 matches. Both teams are fairly safe in the midfield but could still use every point while a win today for Charleroi possibly could stark some hope for playoff 1. Dender tends to play organised and on the counter which tends to work. Their main issue is that when they fall behind and take risk they become way too vulnerable defensively. Charleroi tends to start with intentions forward but if they make the first goal they always crawl back too much. I'm not sure today if their intention will be to go full risk for the win or be happy with a draw which puts them closer to safety staying ahead of Dender. Charleroi is the team with more quality overall. I did take a small 0.2 unit bet on 1H under 1 @ 1.900 as the 1-0 falling by no means makes it a guarantee that the 2nd goal will come. I will just keep it at that.

Cercle Brugge vs Standard

So the plan of standard is clear in that they just go full defense all match which they have shown to be capable of. I don't expect this to be different now that they have a spot in playoff 1. They are coming off 3 wins in a row and have a very hard schedule ahead starting today against Cercle Brugge. This match kind of feels similar to the one from Standard away against Stvv where the home team was a surprisingly big favorite and the odds on the under went up. So I'm extra cautious this time around. Cercle has also been an under team with none of their last 7 matches going to 3 goals or more. So I mainly expect Cercle to cautiously go forward being very aware of Standard Counters and Standard just once again do what they do best. All the last 6 matches, Standard lost the corners matchup at least by 2 corners with the average gap of 5. These mainly come in case they take the lead. I took 0.3 units on 1H Under 1 @ 1.930 along with 0.1 unit on Standard +0.75 @ 1.890 & 0.16 units on Cercle Brugge 1st Half -1 Corners @ 1.800

Genk vs Beerschot

Genk still is in the lead in the standings and they have been the teams I gave the highest scores over the season and also in the last 4 matches. In their last 4 matches they created 7.48xg and scored 8 goals while they got 4.96xg against and took 4 goals against. They have been strong at home going 6.5W-2L-2.5P against the asian handicaps and they highly benefit from the fact that they don't play in Europe. Beerschot brings a lot of energy at home which ironically went better before they replaced their bad pitch. In their last 4 matches they created 4.84xg while coring 3 goals and taking 3 losses and a draw. They did get 8.12xg against and 11 goals against. Overall they remain a team who are just too weak for the 1st division. I expect them to start with lots of energy making it hard on Genk but eventually the mistakes and fatigue will start to kick in as it always does. So My hope is that this plays out and after 1 minutes the odds and line on Genk are a bit better. Genk also has 68.8% of their goals at home in the 2nd half while for Beerschot this is 62.2%. So I'm playing the patience game for now in this match. No Pre-Game Bets
