I'm back to around break even this week after making some profit in the Stvv vs Antwerp match with 7 more matches to go in the hope to continue the ok streak I have been in. 3 Matches on Saturday

Standard vs Dender

These are 2 teams who generally don't like to have possession and focus most of defense so the general expectation is that this might be a boring under match. For both teams, avoiding the playdowns is also the main objective while they also still have an eye on playoff 1 which likely won't be realistic. So similar to the Charleroi vs Cercle match, a draw might not be the worst result for both. It does feel like Standard might be tempted more to once again try to go more forward as they look to be safe and are just 1 point away from Playoff 1 which might backfire. I also feel that is somewhat in the line as they are only a +0 favorite. Standard has been good at home with a 7W-2L record against the asian handicap while Dender is also good away with a 6W-3L record. A good risk-reward that I see right now is a high odds under bet and I took just 0.08 units on Under 1 @ 6.223. This is far less risky than a 0-0 correct score.

Beerschot vs Union

This match will be played on a new pitch and it remains to be seen it it will be similar to the Anderlecht pitch or better. In a way I would say this is a disadvantage to Beerschot as their opponents relatively had a much harder time on the potato field they used to have. Beerschot in the recent weeks has played ok but at the same time you see that they still lack the quality. In their last home match against Antwerp they started furiously and managed to score within 16 seconds. I kind of expect a similar intention today from the home team. Union one way or another managed to win the mid-week Europa League match which qualified them. Many players were also rested or suspended so I do expect them ready for this match. However, I'm just not comfortable with a -1.25 away win line. In the last 3 matches, Union only gave 0.55xg against which is something that keeps me hesitating on the over line. The last 5 home Beerschot matches went to at least 11 corners but at the same time the away matches of Union only had 2 of the last 5 go to 11. The only real lean that I have in this match is the 1H over 1 line but at 1.77 odds it's just a tiny hit short and I will wait. No Pre-Game Bets

Anderlecht vs Mechelen

Anderlecht played with a b-squad in Europe and really fell short against Plzen. They still have Vertonghen, Stroeykens, Edozie, & Dolberg injured but do now with the 11 that are expected to start have enough quality. I still don't fully trust them and their coach who makes obvious mistakes each match. Mechelen has been in a downfall now for some time after a great start and the hope of playoff 1 now has shifted to a fear of the playdowns. All their recent matches also have been low scoring which usually was only the case in away matches. I do expect Mechelen to try and build a wall hoping to score on the counter. I took 0.18 units on Anderlecht 1H -0.5 Corners @ 1.790 & 0.12 units on 1H Under 1 @ 2.064. I also have a lean on Anderlecht -0.25 for FT as it just feels adjusted a bit too much. However, I want at least 1.80 odds on that.

OHL vs AA Gent

AA Gent fired their coach which is the 6th time this happens this year in the league. So far the past 5 matches after that happened resulted in 3.5W-0.5L-1P against the Asian handicap. So the coach change shock effect is playing out and I'm not really willing to oppose it. OHL has been rather a dull anonymous team this season while they should have enough quality to not be in a playdown spot which they are only just above right now. They have been a team however who did well at home against the asian handicap with a 5.5W-1.5L record. I don't think the coach was the main issue for Gent as this simply lack quality especially in the offense. I so still see AA Gent as the team of the two with a bit more quality so they certainly are tempting as the underdog even though for long Gent has been on my teams to oppose list. It also remains to be seen how new 'interim' coach Milićević will play. I only took a tiny 0.1 unit bet on AA Gent +0 @ 2.130
