Not really the result I hoped for in the Match yesterday but at least I avoided adding to my position after Club Brugge fell behind early on in the match. On Saturday I mainly have views wanting to take 'hero bets' againt the general expectation when it comes down to number of goals. The reality though is that these bets tend to not do best so I will try to stay cautious. 3 Matches Today...
Westerlo vs Zulte-Waregem
Westerlo played a horrible 1st match of the season away against Anderlecht. Their problem was that they wanted to build the play from the back and midfield but could not deal with the pressing of Anderlecht and lost the ball so many times which always resulted in big danger. They managed to score twice themselves as Anderlecht brought in an inexperienced defender. The 5-2 score had 2.58xg-0.81xg and the main question is if Westerlo is just plain bad or if this was just a total off day away against a better team who were ready. Zulte-Waregem played at home against Mechelen where they tried to make the play at the start but got a goal against on the counter. Against a defensive Mechelen they were able to play on their half and press but overall create too little. This until they got a penalty for the deserved 1-1 in minute 95'. Generally, I still see Zulte-Waregem as a defensive counter team despite the fact that they were more forward last season in 2nd division and when they previously played in 1st league. While the odds suggets this will be another wild match with defensive mistakes, I very much expect Westerlo to take the initiative forward while taking less risks defensively. Zulte might try to play the pressing game similar to Anderlecht but I'm not sure that they are capable. I'm going out of my way to take a gamble on the Under in this match 0.2 units on

1st Half Under 1 @ 2.810. I also like the gamble on Westerlo being not as bad as they showed in the 1st match and took 0.2 units on
Westerlo -0.25 @ 1.870. I also expect Westerlo to take the initiative and am looking to potentially back them on the 1st half corner handicap.
Standard vs Dender
Standard no longer had the ultra-defensive approach under their new coach. They started their away match against La Louviere really well getting the early lead after which they remained better. However, they were unable to keep up the pace despite making the 2-0 late in the 1st half. In the 2nd half they were rather poor and got pushed back by La Louviere who created 1.78xg but ultimately failed to score. Dender played a rather boring 0-0 at home against Cercle Brugge which kind of was in line with last season where they went 4.5W-9.5L-1P on the over at home while away from home this was reversed at 10W-4L-1P. The combination of Standard who have a more forward approach this season and the Home/away total goal divergence for Dender made me take 0.17 units on
Over 2.25 @ 1.911, 0.08 units on
1H Over 1 @ 2.078, & 0.05 units on
Over 3 @ 3.224. I'm also leanig on Dender to score a goal but I'm waiting for that one in-game possibly. It also remains Standard at home in their first match and with fans this time, so I anticipate them to show up and the line feels kind of soft. just 0.1 unit also on

AA Gent vs La Louviere
AA Gent took a deserved loss away against Stvv where all the goals came in the 2nd half after a boring 1st half. It does feels like Gent pretty much has the same issues as last season so right now it remains a gamble to back them especially as a clear favorite. La Louviere made a pretty good impression last week in their home match despite the 0-2 loss. They did however have a hard time to actually create chances while they are a team that will take goals against. AA Gent did win the corners matchup away against Stvv and I do expect them to be the team more willing to go forward. La louviere won their corners with 6-1 but that in a match at home where they were behind from the start. So AA Gent on the corners might be one of the bets that I take in-game. For now,
