So far, it couldn't have been a more break-even week with some good and some bad bets evening each other out. There are however 4 matches left in the weekend with Super Sunday Today
Club Brugge vs AA Gent
AA Gent in Europe playing away needed a draw against Maccabi to be group leader. Their coach aimed to rest some Key players but that resulted in the biggest off-day and non match of the season for Gent with the good players still having to come in. So they are coming off this in not the optimal sitiation I would guess even though there is a chance that this has no influence whatsoever and it was just a 1-time thing. Club Brugge played at home with their A-Squad and took a deserved 3-1 win getting the group win. This was the firt time that their coach played the team the fans want to see with Meijer, De Cuyper, Nusa & Olson while putting Zinckernagel on the bench. It does look ike Nusa and Oslon don't yet have 90 minutes in them at the moment so it remains to be seen what the starting 11 will be. Overall I'm leaning toward Gent and I should have taken some on them when the line was +1 which by now has come down to +0.5 which isn't worth the risk even though so far AA Gent in these top matches has always shown up. As far as the total goes, this might become clear early on as I don't exclude the Gent coach playing de defensive strayegy similar to the match away against Antwerp.

Union vs Kv Mechelen
Union continues to be on a roll with an win in Europe at home against Liverpool which for sure poses some danger for fatigue/decompression today. Mechelen in the first part of the season was one of the teams they also had a total off day against losing 4-0 away. This can be seen as Mechelen having their number or Union wanting to set things straight. Purely based on team quality and form Union should always win this and a -1.5 line seems quite fair given the circumstances. Usually, Union gets extremely heavy handicaps which they succeed to cover. Mechelen still hasn't been able to convince especially on the offensive end and their new coach also fully focuses on defense. They will be weakened there with Foulon who is suspended while Amoura is still questionable for Union. I'm going into this match with a lean on Union who usually get the lead already in the 1st half. The potential decompression and fatigue however hold me back and I need to see some confirmation first.

Antwerp vs Anderlecht
Antwerp right now is playing in a very mature way and also managed to get a big win against Barcelona (B-team) at home which might also cause some decompression or fatigue. Anderlecht does not play in Europe and will have the fitness egde in this match. However, Anderlecht so far never really managed to convince in top matches. So it's a tricky situation where based on some factors I would side with the home team but other factors make me lean toward Anderlecht +0.5. This is another match where I will just wait and see keeping all my action for potential live betting.

Genk vs Kortrijk
Genk managed to get the job done winning by 2 goals or more in Europe at home despite playing with 10 for a long time but it wasn't enough to get 2nd place in the group. They are still a team with quality but at the same time luck hasn't fully been on their side. They also now have much more a starting 11 with Sor as striker and Fadera also back in better form. Munoz will be back and Genk is able to field a full A-Squad. Kortrijk actually played a match that wasn't bad last week but they still somehow managed to lose against Westerlo. Their problem remains that they have a hard time to score while they are unable to keep the clean sheet. They are last in the standing and the gap if they lose today can grow a lot bigger and they are set for a really difficult task today. I feel it either will turn out in a major upset or a blow-out win for Genk the way I see this match. I am considering taking Genk minus the handicap but at the same time don't want to bet against the odds without really knowing what caused it. So I'm leaving this for what it is for now and I will see closer to the start of the match or in-game.
