I can't complain about luck lately as the coinflips are starting to go my way. Westerlo was very poor again yesterday and I don't think it was purely the strategy to give Kortrijk the ball to score 100% on 2 counters. I'm happy to take it though but it doesn't really increase my overall confidence and I'm keeping my stakes on the low end still.
Cercle Brugge vs Antwerp
Cercle Brugge currently is in 6th place and deserved so but I don't think they will keep this playoff 1 spot. They have a difficult and annoying style to play against but unlike last season, I haven't seen that many stand-out performances from them. What does stand out is that they continue to crush the under line won at 11W-2L-3P especially going under in all away matches. It is by no means that they play boring defensive matches as they are willing to go forward but their low conversion rate along with the high pressure for 90 minutes have made it that they systematically go under the total- which only now is starting to get adjusted. I had unders multiple times and none of them were really comfortable despite ending up winners. Antwerp has not been as good as last season and more often have been getting goals against but they still are a solid side. In the last matchup against Cercle, they played it smart giving cercle the ball and strike on a counter for a 1-0 win. I'm kind of expecting a similar scenario today. The odds on the under have come down too much for me to still take them and I'm not so sure seeing Antwerp play a 5-2 in the cup. Cercle has the advantage of not having had a mid-week match while Antwerp did and they are also ahead of a game against Barcelona. Bataille is injured for Antwerp which makes them less offensive. If I had to pick a bet it would be Antwerp +0 but I'm waiting to see what happens in-game.
No Pre-Game Bets
Sint-Truiden vs OH Leuven
Stvv after a win last week against Mechelen is back in the upper mid-table where they belong based on their performances so far this season. The pretty much play with 10 as they striker Zahiroleslam doesn't really do anything let along score goals. This is their biggest weakness and so far Koita & Steuckers always managed to make up for this. OHL is currentlt in the danger zone as 2nd last with 5 lost matches in a row (5-1 / 0-2 / 3-1 / 0-1 / 1-0 against Anderlecht/Westerlo/Genk/Brugge/Antwerp) so they did have difficult opponents. They narrowly managed to win the cup match against Knokke while Stvv lost with the smallest difference against AA Gent. Stvv tends to play good 1st halves while OHL in those standings also ranks near the bottom taking just 1 win away and 6 losses. I do fully expect Stvv to take all the initiative in this match and overall be the better team. I took 0.2 units on

Stvv 1H -0.5 Corners @ 1.900 all with an eye to possible increase the stakes along the way if I see some confirmation.
AA Gent vs RWDM
RWDM as outlined by the AA Gent coach is a team this is unbeaten in 90 minutes their last 13 matches. In the 4 of those that they lost they each got the losing goal against in extra time. They are also a team that is capable of scoring and rarely doesn't get at least 1 goal. AA Gent narrowly won in the cup against Stvv conserving energy as they have a busy schedule. Right now though they are in a good streak getting at least draws against top teams each time with a good performance while getting the wins against the smaller teams. In the previous encounter it ended 1-1 with AA Gent as the better team. RWDM is a decent side that should have a good chance to stay in the league and there is no real indication for this to be an easy walkover. In the end though, AA Gent should be the better side but I'm not so sure of a 2+ goal win especially since RWDM scores most of their matches. I do see some good value and took 0.092 units on
AA Gent win & BTS @ 2.760. RWDM away in corners so far is 73-18 with an average of 9.1 corners against and the 'best loss' at a -3 line for the opponent pushing. The handicap though is pretty big at -4 and -2 for HT. I will keep an eye on it in-game and will also watch for a potential Over 3 bet.
