Only a tiny profit yesterday and betting continues to be a really big challenge so I'm still trying to keep a low profile. 1 match extra today so 5 of them to take a closer look at...

Stvv vs Genk

Stvv got absolutely trashed last week by a 7-0 score against Club Brugge. This despite the fact that the weeks before they actually played quite decent. So the question mainly i-s if this is a reversal after the coach change effect of Stvv or if it was just a 1-time-thing with a possible bounce back today. It's a derby so intention from both sides will be high. Genk continues to be a good team even though their previous 2 games were less impressive. They did win 3-0 against Charleroi after a poor 1st half and some late goals in their favor late when Charleroi got more tired. The week before they lost 4-0 away against Union who brought a lot more intensity. So I'm not really jumping to the an away -0.75 line here. Genk over the season has been the team with the highest xg in favor while they are somewhere in the middle when it comes to xg against. Stvv had a couple high xg matches at home 3.03 and 4.15 against Westerlo and AA Gent. The line seems to have moved to -0.5 on Genk which feels more realistic and it might become tempting in game. I'm in no rush to get into anything right now on this match. No Pre-Game Bets

Beerschot vs Cercle Brugge

Beerschot despite taking some points recently still falls short for the 1st division. At the same time they no longer are as horrible as they were early in the season. They are in last place and 8 points behind on Cercle Brugge who are 2nd last which might make the gap too big if they lose while give hope if they win. Cercle Brugge is a team with too much quality to be in a relegation spot and mainly the busy schedule didn't help them so far while overall quality also isn't what it was last year. In their last 3 home matches, Beerschit played Club Brugge, AA Gent, & Anderlecht not losing any of those matches which certainly counts for something. It's one of those matches where I see Cercle as the winner but Beerschot arguably as the value. Relegation matches like this often times start out very tense with poor quality play. Odds are just a bit too low for me to take the 1H Under 1.25 though. My lean for sure is on the visitors but I need to see more before I'm actually willing to back them. No Pre-Game Bets

OH Leuven vs Anderlecht

OHL fired their coach and beat the handicap on their first match with interim coach who has not been replaced yet. They have been a team that underperformed based on the quality that they have while having a hard time to score and keeping things quite secure defensively. This puts them at only 2.13 average xg over matches in total this season. Anderlecht seems to be a team who are best on the counter against teams who are wiling to play forward. They played a weak 1st half last week against AA Gent but managed to score on the 1st counter which gave them confidence to eventually win the match with 6-0. In Europe they were the better team against Porto but they got the 0-1 against ending the match in a draw. They don't need much to score while at the same time in the last 3 weeks in the league they only got and average of 0.35 xg against. This while they are still missing Vertonghen and their defense on paper doesn't look anywhere near impressive. They also miss Sardella, Augustinsson and Edozie today and are coming of a mid-week match. My lean is on Anderlecht -0.25 for sure because they showed that they can win matches while scoring easy the last couple of weeks. However, I don't really want to oppose OHL now and also don't want to gamble against the OHL defense. Also in this match I have no real conviction and took No Pre-Game Bets

Union SG vs Antwerp

Union despite still showing signs of having a hard time to score is pulling through lately showing better form. They played an impressive home match against Genk 2 weeks ago showing very high intensity but didn't get further than a 1-1 away against OHL last week. They also picked up extra fatigue in the mid-week match against Twente away which they won with a 0-1 score and their defense seems quite secure not giving all too much away. Antwerp seems to be a bit over their top after having ti play with many youngsters in the past weeks. However, it look like most of their players are back leaving most youngsters on the bench. Given what Union showed against Genk, it makes sense for them to bigger favorite and it's one of those cases where I see them as the winner but the value arguable on Antwerp. I do expect the initiative with Union but I'm not sure if the scoring efficiency will be there today and how much of the fatigue will kick in. No Pre-Game Bets

Westerlo vs AA Gent

AA Gent confirmed their lacking form in the European match against Lugano away which they lost with a 2-0 score once again showing to be not good enough. So they come in with low confidence and potentially some fatigue. Because of it's it kind of makes sense that Westerlo is the small home favorite even though they haven't been impressing themselves lately. They did win 4-0 from Krotrijk but played a bad 1st half while Kortrijk simply played a very bad 2nd half. These are both not teams high on my radar to back. Also here, I'm simply not confident to make any prediction and will just wait to see more ingame. No Pre-Game Bets
