I dodged a nice bullet yesterday by not getting in on the obvious big -1.5 handicap home favorite who ended up losing with 1-3 and left Friday unharmed as far as betting went. 4 more matches to have a look at again today with on 1 of them where I already had an early bet yesterday.
Seraing vs Sint-Truiden
Seraing played an ok match against OHL last week being willing to play forward and being rewarded for it with a 1-3 Victory. They have shown that they are not without chance in the league even though their performances have been mixed some weeks being ok while other weeks not so much so it is hard to really get a proper grip on this team. They have slightly outperformed their handicaps at home showing a profit going 4W-3L. They are now 6 points clear of a relegation spot with a win and a draw in their 2 previous games. Stvv has picked up their form with 2 wins in their last 2 matches. They can count on a good defense and despite not really playing that great in away matches, they still outperform the Asian handicaps somehow going 5W-2L. Stvv is 4W-0L on under corners in their last 4 away matches with an average of 5.75 corners, Seraing at home so far this season only saw corners go over 10 once with an average of 9.14 only losing 1 of those matchups. My leans are on the under and the under corners but I can't say I'm overly confident to take 2.5 and 9.5 lines and I will just wait to see how it goes in-game. I don't have a good enough grip on Seraing so
No Pre-Game Bets
Cercle Brugge vs Kv Mechelen
So Cercle has been putting up good performances but still ending up empty-handed all while their ok performances overly seem to be adjusted into the lines. On the betting end, streaks are quite important and unlucky teams tend to keep getting unlucky until the streak is fully broken. So betting Cercle today as the -0.25 favorite is not really an option. Cercle now is 0W-7L-1P at home against the Asian Handicap and they are also in a relegation spot. Kv Mechelen on the other hand is coming off a home win against Club Brugge and they managed to climb to 4th place after a really good streak since that blow-out loss away against Anderlecht. Just by the positions and streaks these teams are in, Mechelen +0.25 is a crazy high line. If it wasn't for Cercle actually putting up some good performances I would put the -0.25 home line up as a system bet that makes no sense whatsoever. these did crazy good last season and is 1W-0L so far this season. Right now it feels like a coin flip between Cercle finally taking a win and them continuing the same pattern. My main lean is on 1st Half Over 1 as I don't see Cercle crawling back which should make it into an encounter with some chances from the start on both sides. Both also have quite high 1H stats combined 1-6-7 on 0-1-2+ goals in 1H. I did take 0.17 units on
1st Half Over 1 @ 1.805 with an eye to possibly take more in-game.
Eupen vs Kortrijk
I already put up a bet yesterday of 0.5 units on
Eupen vs Kortrijk Under 2.75 @ 1.896 as Kortrijk is a team that takes a lot of pride in keeping clean sheets whime Eupen has lacked the needed scoring power lately. Eupen is without a win in their last 5 games and are in a downtrend after an excellent start of the season while Kortrijk is without a loss in the last 4 games and they never scored more than 1 goal in their last 5 matches. I just see this one as a match where the quality of the defense will be too good for the lack in quality and finishing power on the offense. I also took a tiny bet on
1st Half Under 1 @ 2.154 and a crypto bet of 1400 WGR on Under 2.5 @ 2.13 over at
Wagerr. I'm having a small lean also on Kortrijk +0.25 but I will skip on that for now.
Charleroi vs Anderlecht
Charleroi in on a pretty good streak with 4 wins in their last 5 matches. In the last match they were ok in defense but overall not that impressive and in the previous match against Union they also just were not good enough. Anderlecht remains a team where it is a hit or a miss. Last week they showed some good things but screwed themselves taking an unneeded red card. Overall they have just not managed to create enough chances unless they already have a big lead at which point it all seems easy for them. I don't expect a wide-open up and down start of the match but see it more likely that both teams are going to be unwilling to overly taking risks. I did end up getting in on a trading position on 'no early goal' taking
1st Half Under 1 @ 2.13 for 0.35 units.
