Not that much went my way on Saturday which now as I'm on a hot run still ended up with a +0.25 unit profit overall so no complaints and i'm enjoying the upside while it last. I just keep grinding it out day by day putting in the work and doing what I can to find an edge. This is no different on Sunday were there are 4 more matches..
Antwerp vs Genk
Genk once again played phenomenal last week just like at the start of the season while Antwerp continues to cruise along getting the results most of the time with a play style that is more focused on efficiency while not giving much away. Genk is in a better streak winning their last 5 while Antwerp lost twice away against Standard and away against Kortrijk. My main reference for this match is Club Brugge vs Genk where the visitors were way better at playing an attacking style but still ended up as the loser in the end, they do have the form and the momentum a bit more while Antwerp has the home advantage. It's hard to predict how this will turn out and I can see both scenarios of a closed-down match where not losing is the priority or a wide-open match where both just go for the win. I do think Genk should be the team more willing to play forward and they are in a slightly better form. This is also the first home match against a top team for Antwerp. I did very cautiously take 2 bets each with 0.1 unit stake on
Racing Genk 1st Half +0 @ 1.963 &
Racing Genk 1st Half Corners +0 @ 1.940 and will wait to see more before getting other bets in.
AA Gent vs Seraing
AA Gent remains a team with mixed results that either struggles or wins matches easy regardless of the opponent and it is very hard to put trust in them. Seraing is currently 15th in the league and at times have shown that they actually aren't that bad. On the road they also have a crazy high finishing percentage and they scored 2.2 goals there on average in the last 5 games. This certainly will be subject to some regression to the mean and I'm not really comfortable backing the fact that they will score in one way or another. Only if Gent shows some good signs of domination in this match am I going to willing to potentially back them. Most likely Seraing will try to keep things closed in the back while Gent might lack the needed creativity to take an early lead without needing some luck. Both are generally not the highest corner teams and if Gent takes the lead after already putting in a couple corners, I might go for an under bet there. For now,

Standard vs Anderlecht
Standard for sure are in better flow right now especially at home where they made the difference on willpower and work ethic right from the start. Anderlecht also managed to show this in their home match against Club Brugge where they arguably deserved more than the narrow loss. This match feels like it will all be about energy at the cost of quality which both by default are already lacking. Anderlecht being the -0.25 favorite feels kind of like a "trap line" as based on everything I can see no clear reason why they should be the favorite today. I do think that the chance this turns out in a bad match low on actual chances and goals is much bigger than that we get to see an open encounter with lots of goals. I did miss the best odds so I'm keeping my stakes to a minimum with a 0.2 unit bet on
Under 2.75 @ 1.820 and also just a 0.1 unit bet on
1st Half Under 1 @ 2.133. I do expect a match where there will be cards on both sides as they are going to want to out-hustle each other. I also have to take the bait and took 0.15 units on
Standard 1st Half +0 @ 2.169 purely based on their previous home performance against Antwerp.
Oostende vs Zulte-Waregem
Both team right now have complete opposite momentum. Oostende is without a win in their last 5 matches while Zulte-Waregem after a really bad streak now turned things around with 2 wins in a row which puts them and an equal 11 points to Oostende. It does feel like both teams will have more willingness to go for it compared to fear to lose. Oostende overall I see as a team with slightly more quality but the momentum is fully on the side of Zulte-Waregem which is why I don't see them as that much of an underdog. I did take an early 0.544 unit bet on
Zulte-Waregem +0.5 @ 1.800 rounding that up to 0.5 units with a 0.56 unit bet n
Zulte-Waregem -0.5 @ 3.364. I will also keep my eye on a potential over bet but I'm in no rush for that and rather see how things look in the match first. I also took a 5000 WGR Crypto bet on
