Not the mid-week European Results that I had hoped for even though I felt quite confident on the bets that I took. I'm down -0.9 units on the week so far and hope to do better to possibly get a 5th winning week in a row while at the same time trying to prevent getting down more. One interesting match tonight...

Westerlo vs Beerschot

Westerlo so far this season, started very hot, had somewhat of a dip and are now are playing as an upper mid-table team. They are coming of a deserved win against Standard which broke their streak without a win. Striker Frigan seems to finally have found a good form as he's the #1 starting striker . They have a really young average team and their oldest player Goalkeeper Bolat has been the least reliable one. Yow is still injured which isn't a major problem. Beerschot is the team who so far have shown that they don't belong in the 1st division and they are also 0.5W-7.5L-2P against the asian handicp and 0W-5L away from home. Last week in the derby against Antwerp, they started with high motivation in the 1st 10 minutes but it also didn't last much longer after which they got played away pretty much. At 4-0 in the 2nd half, the fans ended up throwing things on the field which made it so that the match was not finished. Away fans are allowed today so it once again is a risk for the match not to be finished resulting in void bets. However, in the previous match these actions were announced and not in this one. I had to oppose Beerschot again with a high handicap and high odds as I see it as a good risk-reward to see another collapse while at the same time a total surprise in matches like this is always there. 0.25 units on Westerlo -2 @ 2.310 is what I took last night also sharing it as always in the Discord. Possible there will be another solid 10 minutes from Beerschot followed by Westerlo taking over. With that in mind I might take some more bets in-game.
