I ended up not having a single bet yesterday in the match between AA Gent and Westerlo even though it played out as expected. Odds are just razor sharp pre-game but there was some good value on AA Gent in the 2nd half which I failed to get.

Standing Playoff 2

Cercle Brugge vs Standard

This looks like a classic Playoff 2 match where both teams are free without any stress to just go for it which often turns out in an offensive-minded match. Cercle Brugge narrowly qualified and is in good form with striker Ueda in form. Standard I still see as a team with not enough quality that managed to perform above their level thanks to a good coach giving the group a great fighting mentality especially in home matches against good teams. They did lose their last match of the season away from home with a 3-2 score against OH Leuven. I do expect a good motivated Cercle Brugge at home willing to go forward and take risks and hoped for better odds on them as they seems to be adjusted and not worth taking below -0.25 at evens or more for me. The match during the regular season started off really boring and could have gone both ways in the end finishing in a 1-1 score. I'm not sure how much this actually is relevant still for the match today. I'm once again similar to yesterday having a lean on the home favorite and the over but I'm not forcing anything and just will wait and see how it goes before potentially getting in.
