Something else today as it's the final week of the 2nd division where the title race is wide open still between 3 teams who each have matters into their own hands still...

This is the current standings with just 1 weeks to go and all matches played tonight

There are basically 3 teams who will fight for the title which includes a direct battle between the 1st & 2nd place while 10 teams have nothing left to play for. The 1st 2 teams are directly promoted to 1st division while the 3rd will have to play a playoffs round and the winner of that will have a double encounter against the 3rd last in the 1st division for a possible promotion. However, the quality difference is said to be quite big so most likely a 3rd plays won't result in a promotion.

Lommel vs La Louviere

La Louviere thanks to a winning streak recently (2-1 vs Francs Borains / 0-1 vs Genk U23 / 2-1 vs Lierse of which none are top sides while all wins were narrow) combined with the 2 leaders getting really nervous and dropping points recentlt now have matter in their own hands. A win away against Lommel who are placed 11th for sure gives them a top 2 spot and promotion. Lommel recently won from RWDM away from home and a while back at home against Zulte-Waregem and I can only assume that they will play to win at home today. The handicap seems to have been set quite high on an away win given the situation where La Louviere has to win but it feels quite high given the nerves that without a doubt will be in play. Last week, they managed to hold off RWDM after getting a 0-1 lead which ended the match in 16-4 corners. A draw potentially for La Louviere is good enough in case RWDM wins from Zulte-Waregem. I was willing to take just 0.1 unit on Lommel +1.25 @ 1.872 as a home win due to nerved from La Louviere would not be a surprise while at the same time a draw might be enough for the away team and a 1-goal win also is enough. So the bet is mainly that it won't be just a walk in the park because they have all the incentive to win. I will also keep an eye out for a possible La Louviere corners bet.

Zulte-Waregem vs RWDM

Zulte-Waregem last season missed out on promotion due to a pas streak near the end of the season and I would not be surprised if nerves were extra high for them today. In the last 2 weeks they lost against Lokeren who have been on a better run and took a draw against Seraing who are a bottom team. If La Louviere fails to win they have enough with a Draw to be sure but more likely they will just need to take the win today. At least having a clear goal tends to be a good thing. RWDM is 1st in the league with 1 point clear of Zulte-Waregem and and Draw always will get them promotion. Last week, they lost agaisnt Lommel despite the 2.24-0.46xg and the week before they took a draw away against Patro. However the 3 matches before that they managed to keep a clean sheet in all of them winning 6 of those with a 1-0 or 0-1 score. This while Zulte-Waregem is a team who rarely keeps a clean sheet. For this match, I expect a nervous start where both teams are somewhat paralyzed and don't want to overly take risk. Zulte-Waregem who have to score should be more forward while RWDM can possibly lure on the counters. I took 0.1 unit on 1st Half Under 1 @ 2.030 and 0.05 units on Zulte-Waregem Ck +0 @ 1.884 along with a 0.0239 ETH bet on Zulte-Waregem 1H +0 corners @ 1.840 over at Dexsport.io
