Kortrijk vs Kv Mechelen

Both are not clear from relegation trouble and Kortrijk has had a better form lately while Kv Mechelen especially away from home has failed to impress. Mechelen arguably had a more doable and important weekend match upcoming at home against Oostende while Kortrijk will visit AA Gent away. I don't see Kortrijk as the real underdog and took a cautious 0.2 units on Kortrijk +0.25 @ 1.790. I will also keep my eye on the over in corners.

Zulte-Waregem vs Sint-Truiden

Zulte-Waregem is in relegation trouble and their coach already stated that their priority is on the league. I don't expect them to throw this match especially since they have to play Genk away over the weekend but there will most likely be some rotation. Sint-Truiden is 8th in the league and can put their focus on this cup match. If anything they have shown a solid defense while at the same time falling short offensively, especially when having to make the play and create chances. I did take an early bet of 0.208 units on 1H Under 1 @ 2.08 which is my go-to play in Stvv matches now

Genk vs Antwerp

Genk right now is clearly the best team in the league which they showed again against Club Brugge over the weekend labeling the loss before against Kortrijk just as a small bump on the road. I do expect that they play with their full A-Squad and go for it. Antwerp started the season with a crazy winning streak, had a dip afterward but now seem to be back having picked up their form. They still have quite some injured players and I expect them to mostly try to keep things closed defensively and break out on the counters. Genk has yet to lose a 1st half at home while Antwerp tends to fall behind as they lost all 5 of their last away 1st halves. I'm willing to take a 0.2 unit gamble on Genk 1st Half -0.25 @ 2.152

Union vs AA Gent

Union had somewhat of an off-match in the weekend against Anderlecht despite winning with a 1-3 score. AA Gent didn't play a bad match against Antwerp but lost with 2-0 in the end. This cup match is more important for AA Gent as they will have a hard time to get inside playoff 2 while Union is just 7 points behind on the leader. I do see union as the team right now with slightly more quality, the -0.25 line seems to be quite right and I have no clue for the total line. So on this one, No Pre-Game Bets
