Morning Walk Wednesday: April 2 2025
Yesterday was a walk on Wednesday for me, I wanted to exercise my legs by walking long distance. Asides my usual early morning exercise. I decided to take a walk halfway to my working place since I finished preparing early, thereby feeling the fresh morning breeze.
It was an interesting journey as I watched people preparing for the day in their various ways. Market women/men open their shops and arrange their products. Workers waiting for taxi cabs, students with their uniforms going to school, and all other activities.
These are things I see everyday, but from a moving car, which doesn't give me the time to process all the activities. By the time I was ready to take a taxi. I had already taken over three thousand steps, just early in the morning. Right there I knew I would be taking more than five thousand steps today.
I didn't really check my actifit app till afternoon, and by then it was already close to five thousand.
I think taking a walk down to work at seldom time, probably Once every week, or taking a walk halfway to work depending on the distance would help improve the full body health by at least 10%. By that time (in the morning), the weather is friendly and your strength is at the peak enabling you to go longer distances without feeling the heat and pain of walking, and at the same time burning off calories.
