A hiking Sunday - My Actifit Report Card: September 10 2023
Yesterday was a day of achievement in my activity to stay healthy and fit! I did a new hiking route. I hiked up to Picacho Galipan from a place called Boca de Tigre in El Avila.
The hike to the Picacho took us about an hour, making a few stops to rest as we went with a small hiking group and we were not all going at the same pace.
But the stops were also perfect for enjoying the nature that surrounded us, like these little pink flowers that were in some sections of the route.
The views were amazing and you could see the coast on the other side of the mountains that border Caracas to the north.
The hike was great. It was so rewarding to get to the top of the Picacho. And the whole experience was wonderful and we even had a freshly brewed coffee at the top.
My Actifit keeps registering fewer steps than my health app on my phone. I don't know why.
But steps more or steps less, Sunday was full of activity and good vibes.

Two rounds of 8 months each, and then I married a costarricense. We were married for 12 years, and we'd make a trip back to Costa Rica to see her family, every 1-2 years for 1-3 months at a time, over the course of 10 years. So I've spent a lot of time there, and have traveled over most of the country. It used to he my second home. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I have some friends who moved there and they love it. Maybe someday I can go visit 🤞🌱
