!LOL so frustrating!
I know what has caused it... my running slowed down in the 1st half of December, stopped completely in the 2nd half, and only in January am I getting back into it again.
It's not 'back to square one' but feels like it. I don't expect to leap back into where I used to be, but those little notifications after each run still feel a little demoralizing! 🤣

But I hear you: Brad and I have been focused on doing Zone 2 running and he's making far more progress than me because he is better at running Every Single Day. !LOL Meanwhile, I did a warm up yesterday. Was happy to see that I was jogging in the middle of my Zone 2 range. So I started another activity on my watch. But it only took 11 minutes of running for my heart rate to start rising and rising and rising!
It FELT the same. And I even resorted to running slower (from 12 minute pace down to about 16 minute pace!) but by the 20 minute mark it had climbed to 174 which is well into my Zone 4. So I thought I better call it quits for the day!
Hmmm, somehow I made this about me. Haha. I think I'm commiserating with you. Frustrating! Yeah! Haha. I think all we can do is commit and recommit to the practise of running and let the results take care of themselves. !HUG
