Hellooo and happy new year everybody !!!

How did your new year celebrations go?

Mine was exceptional, unlike most folks I was busy with math. 😂
Apparently nothing stops us from celebrating the way we want/like. I tried my best to avoid it but it tried it's very best not to avoid me and unfortunately in the decision struggle it did win. You know that kind of "I don't wanna go back to my ex" struggle but the affection just doesn't wanna die and you let your guard down.
However, it did make me very happy because I was able to make one of my best discoveries of which unfortunately may not be important now probably in a future post we may discuss about it. The get back was unfortunately brief - we've broken up again, until further notice. 🤭

Mind Over Matter: Perception of Time Influences Wound Healing

For a very long time now, we have been grappling as to the nature of the mind and the body, termed the mind-body dilemma. Not only do we struggle with their nature but also, which is actually in control, simply put does the mind control the brain (body) or is it the other way round ?

We can as it would seem use our mind to control certain parts of our body, like our legs and arms but there are certain bodily functions that appears to not be under the control of our minds. See-Through Wood Is Stronger Than Plastic and Tougher Than Glass

I have always admired wood as a material because of it's very unique properties but seeing a transparent wood is f*cking mind-blowing and it makes me wonder if wood is some sort of super material we may be overlooking. You know how hard and tough wood can be, now imagine when you have a transparent wood, you would be having a superior kind of glass plus with other interesting properties. But how can you make wood become transparent?

New evidence that insect wings may have evolved from gills

Thanks to the theory of evolution we living things are all related and can be traced back to a common ancestor. Which means we aren't only related as a whole but also by parts and this brings us to an interesting question. What part of the body of the common ancestors of animals did insect wings evolve from ?

If you're encountering this question for the first time, do not use birds to compare. Insects seem to have relatively complete limbs (fore and hind) unlike birds whose forelimbs became wings. This question of insects wings origin has been challenging for scientists to answer but a recent discovery may have just found out the answer ........continue reading.
