Partidazo en el San Siro, el Milan necesitaba ganar y ganó // A great match at the San Siro, Milan needed to win and won

Los rossoneri levantan la cabeza en Champions y le colocan sabor al grupo de la muerte. El partido de hoy era el único que me interesaba ver en esta jornada de UEFA Champions League, y con la victoria previa del Dortmund ante el Newcastle mucho más porque una derrota del Milan prácticamente los dejaría sin posibilidades de transcender a los octavos de final, tendría que ocurrir un desastre en las últimas dos jornadas, sin embargo con la victoria conseguida el día de hoy el panorama mejora notablemente.

Dependen de ellos absolutamente, y eso es bastante bueno. Últimamente se ha venido cuestionando la dirigencia de Pioli y con justa razón, pues se habla de que sin Zlatan y Maldini el técnico carece de ideas dentro de la cancha. El Milan no le está yendo muy bien en Serie A, ha perdido encuentros que debería haber ganado y en la máxima competición europea ni siquiera había podido marcar un gol en tres partidos; afortunadamente para ellos ese sello se rompió hoy y con goles de Leao y Giroud sus máximas figuras le arrebatan 3 puntos al Psg bastante importantes.

Hay varias cosas que quería ver hoy, una de ellas la actitud del Milan, otra la “bienvenida” de los hinchas del San Siro a Donnaruma, y por último el desenlace del juego. Fue impresionante como los tifosi se tomaron a mal la ida del portero italiano, si bien no hubieron agresiones ni "falta de respeto mayores" fue algo gracioso como lo tildaban de “"mercenario" lanzándole dinero al comenzar el partido, me pregunte si serian reales los billetes pero me di cuenta que no, pero en fin, es un tema entre Gigio y ellos; por otro lado que emocionante se vive el futbol a nivel mundial. Es más que un juego, es una pasión.

Today's match was the only one I was interested in watching in this UEFA Champions League matchday, and with the previous victory of Dortmund against Newcastle, much more because a Milan defeat would practically leave them with no chance of advancing to the round of 16, a disaster would have to happen in the last two matchdays, however with the victory achieved today the outlook improves significantly.

They are absolutely dependent on themselves, and that is a good thing. Lately, Pioli's management has been questioned and with good reason, as there is talk that without Zlatan and Maldini the coach lacks ideas on the pitch. Milan is not doing very well in Serie A, they have lost matches they should have won and in the top European competition they had not even been able to score a goal in three games; fortunately for them that seal was broken today and with goals from Leao and Giroud their top players snatched 3 very important points from Psg.

There were several things I wanted to see today, one of them was Milan's attitude, another was the "welcome" of the San Siro fans to Donnaruma, and finally the outcome of the game. It was impressive how the tifosi took the departure of the Italian goalkeeper badly, although there were no aggressions or "major disrespect" it was funny how they called him a "mercenary" throwing money at him at the beginning of the game, I wondered if the bills were real but I realized they were not, but anyway, it is a matter between Gigio and them; on the other hand, how exciting soccer is at a global level. It is more than a game, it is a passion.

Aun así, Donnaruma fue la estrella del PSG, evito dos tantos que les habrían devuelto la goleada que los rossoneri recibieron en el Parque de los Príncipes hace dos semanas, fueron dos atajadas que solamente el u otro portero de su tamaño y reflejos habría podido hacer. Me gusto como respondió, aunque en el segundo gol del Milan peco de inmaduro, me pregunto hasta cuando los jugadores reclamaran a los árbitros por faltas, cuando entenderán que deben mantener su mente en el partido y terminar las jugadas. Debido a eso reacciono muy tarde al cabezazo de Giroud y no pudo hacer nada ante el gol que le dio vida a su antiguo equipo.

Ahora bien, lo del Milan hoy fue incuestionable, jugaron como siempre deberían hacerlo, a este nivel pienso que pueden lograr buenos resultados, pero eso parece algo muy fugaz, y espero que no porque en la siguiente fecha deben derrotar al Borussia en casa para poner un pie en los octavos. La mentalidad del equipo hoy fue la correcta, buscaron el partido desde el inicio y aunque comenzaron perdiendo no se rindieron sino que lograron remontar y ganar. El gol rápido de Leao para empatar fue clave para que el equipo se mantuviera en la dirección correcta, eso les ayudo a mantener la concentración en el partido hasta conseguir la victoria.

Sabía que el Milan podía vencer al Psg, en el primer encuentro entre ambos fueron goleados pero por momentos el encuentro fue muy parejo, incluso podrían haberse adelantado en el marcador, hoy cuando el Psg marco quizás muchos pensaron que se vendría otra goleada, pero al final no fue así. El partido estuvo sumamente competitivo, ambos equipos tuvieron sus oportunidades, y al final cuando al Milan le toco aguantar lo hizo muy bien, como todo buen equipo italiano, el psg tuvo el balón pero no pudo anotar, lo más cerca que estuvo fue el disparo del coreano que se estrelló en el palo y allí quedo todo.

Para concluir solo puedo decir que ha sido una noche mágica de futbol europeo, el día de mañana espero la clasificación del Inter y a esperar la siguiente fecha para ver si el Milan puede seguir transcendiendo en el tan cuestionado y anhelado grupo de la muerte.

Now, Milan's performance today was unquestionable, they played as they always should, at this level I think they can achieve good results, but that seems very fleeting, and I hope not because on the next day they must beat Borussia at home to put one foot in the round of 16. The mentality of the team today was the right one, they looked for the game from the start and although they started losing they didn't give up but managed to come back and win. Leao's quick goal to equalize was key for the team to keep going in the right direction, that helped them to stay focused on the game until they got the win.

I knew that Milan could beat Psg, in the first meeting between the two they were beaten but at times the match was very even, they could even have taken the lead, today when Psg scored perhaps many thought that they would score another goal, but in the end it was not like that. The match was extremely competitive, both teams had their chances, and in the end when it was Milan's turn to hold on they did it very well, like any good Italian team, Psg had the ball but could not score, the closest they came was the Korean's shot that crashed against the post and that was it.

To conclude I can only say that it has been a magical night of European soccer, tomorrow I expect Inter to qualify and wait for the next game to see if Milan can continue to transcend in the much questioned and longed for group of death.
