El fútbol italiano ha dado inicio y la primera jornada terminó el día de ayer. Los ojos de todos en el país de la pasta estaban sobre el conjunto Juventino, sobre todo la crítica y los aficionados. De mi parte también estaba atento porque quería ver el inicio de este nuevo proyecto lleno de caras nuevas y ausente de muchas conocidas.

Thiago Motta, responsable de esta renovación, tenía los ojos puestos sobre él. Sus ideas fueron puestas a prueba de forma oficial, y el equipo respondió bien a su estilo de juego. De hecho, ganaron de forma convincente, aunque contra el débil Como, equipo que viene en ascenso de la segunda división. Mala suerte para ellos.

Ayer, cuando notaba la alineación, pude ver un lugar para Chiesa. Estoy seguro de que muchos tifosis querían ver también eso, y definitivamente lo tiene por la banda donde juega el estadounidense Timothy Weah; sin embargo, no hay vuelta atrás. Ya ha sido descartado completamente y debe salir del club cuanto antes, tiene solo 10 días para hacerlo y mantenerse activo.

El fútbol que mostró ayer Motta es simple, se basa en posesiones largas del esférico, para ello tiene dos ejes en la conducción: Locatelli y Thuram, ambos funcionan muy bien y se complementan para distribuir juego y recuperar balones. Seguido está el mediocampista ofensivo Kenan Yildiz. El joven turco de tan solo 19 años es una verdadera joya, y sin duda es la apuesta de Motta en la media cancha juvetina.

Algo que me gustó mucho ver, fue el desempeño de Cambiasso y Vlahovic, como si fueran jugadores nuevos, los dos tuvieron un gran desempeño, Vlahovic como un 9 de área que debe luchar balones con los defensores y recibir de los extremos, mientras que Cambiasso, un todoterreno, lateral derecho con mucha subida y recuperación.

Si bien el rival fue débil, no se puede negar que esta Juventus ha mostrado consistencia durante todo el encuentro. Esta virtud había desaparecido del plantel desde hace varios años, pero ahora vuelve y quizás para quedarse por un buen tiempo.

Definitivamente y para concluir, es un equipo nuevo, con un estilo de fútbol nuevo, así que no hay mucho que argumentar. La identidad bianconera como la conocíamos, ha dejado de ser y ahora tenemos un plantel fresco que juega rápido, vistoso y tiene muchas virtudes ofensivas. Solo queda ver cómo será su desempeño contra equipos de mayor oficio, un Inter, Milan, Roma, y entonces allí quizás podremos tener una idea más clara de lo que nos puede ofrecer esta Juventus.
