El Derby della Mole termina en igualdad // Derby della Mole ends in a draw

Uno de los partidos más interesantes de la fecha en Italia fue el Derby della Mole, un partido entre la Juventus de Turín y el Torino, dos equipos de la misma ciudad donde hay una ventaja muy clara históricamente hablando, pues la Juve domina este Derby ampliamente. Sin embargo, no por eso deja de ser atractivo, pues siempre hay muy buena rivalidad entre los dos.

Una de las cosas que llamaba mi atención fue ver este Derby sin tantos italianos en cancha, sobre todo por parte de la Juve que tiene muchos extranjeros. Una de las cosas que quería ver era la mentalidad de estos, ver si estaban a la altura de jugar un partido con tanta intensidad, y debo decir que si lo estuvieron.

Aun así, la Juve no paso del empate, una vez más el equipo de Motta – por cierto, expulsado – no pudo cerrar el partido. Teniendo una ventaja temprana en el marcador permitieron la igualdad y no pudieron remontar para ganar. Es increíble como la Juventus se mantiene invicta esta temporada, 7 victorias y 12 empates en 19 fechas, lo cual aunque no es malo, pero los mantiene bastante rezagados por la lucha del Scudetto en la 5.ª posición de la tabla.

However, that does not make it any less attractive, as there is always a very good rivalry between the two.

One of the things that caught my attention was to see this Derby without so many Italians on the field, especially Juve, who have many foreigners. One of the things I wanted to see was their mentality, to see if they were up to the task of playing a match with such intensity, and I must say that they were.

Even so, Juve didn't get past the equalizer, once again Motta's team - by the way, sent off - couldn't close the game. Having an early lead on the scoreboard they allowed the equalizer and could not come back to win. It's amazing how Juventus remains unbeaten this season, 7 wins and 12 draws in 19 games, which although not bad, but keeps them well behind in the Scudetto fight in 5th position in the table.

Evidentemente, hay un problema que Motta debe resolver. Insisto, que grave error fue vender a Chiesa, era el jugador más determinante de la Juve, y hoy no hay otro que pueda suplir su ausencia. Si bien Yildiz y Weah han marcado, no son determinantes, y esto es algo donde el delantero italiano les lleva mucha ventaja, y por como está la Juve, Chiesa sería la solución a muchos problemas en la delantera.

Todavía no logro descifrar el juego de Motta, y pienso que sus jugadores tampoco. Hay un vacío de ideas en la delantera que preocupa porque tienen muy buen plantel, le falta profundidad, pero veamos qué fichajes incorporan en este mercado. Un delantero de área sería totalmente bienvenido, ya que Vlahovic está prácticamente solo en su posición.

El partido fue muy entretenido, dos buenos goles, Yildiz con su individualidad puso al conjunto binaconeri adelante y Nikola Vlasic empato con un disparo fuera dela área. Del resto, ambos equipos tuvieron sus momentos y oportunidades para obtener la victoria, pero no lo lograron, en parte, por el mérito de los porteros.

En líneas generales fue un buen Derby, desafortunadamente no hubo ganador, pero, digamos que se hizo “justicia” por cómo se desarrolló el partido. Para concluir, debo decir que la Juve tiene que hacer movimientos en este mercado, tanto de entrada como de salida, de lo contrario corre el riesgo de quedar fuera de competencias europeas para la siguiente temporada.

The match was very entertaining, two good goals, Yildiz with his individuality put the Binaconeri side ahead and Nikola Vlasic equalized with a shot outside the box. The rest, both teams had their moments and opportunities to get the victory, but did not succeed, partly due to the merit of the goalkeepers.

Overall it was a good Derby, unfortunately there was no winner, but, let's say that “justice” was done for the way the game was played. In conclusion, I must say that Juve has to make moves in this market, both incoming and outgoing, otherwise they risk being out of European competitions for the following season.
