Luego de levantar el ansiado Scudetto la temporada pasada, el AC Milan no ha tenido el mejor inicio de campaña en este nuevo año, a pesar de que no han perdido en cuatro encuentros, su desempeño colectivo en el campo está por debajo de lo que se tenía previsto, y eso trae como consecuencia directa que han dejado puntos importantes en el camino; afortunadamente para ellos no han sido derrotas, pero si dos empates con un mal sabor de boca.

La claridad de ideas es uno de los factores negativos que se estan evidenciando, no estan terminando las jugadas, y las individualidades son pocas y a la vez fugaces. Leao ha sido lo mejor que se ha visto en el club por los momentos, pero hoy tuvo un juego para el olvido, una primera mitad desbordando, creando jugadas importantes, atacando la portería rival constantemente, pero la segunda totalmente desaparecido. Lo mismo para Brahim Díaz, quien aporto poco para su equipo en este partido, el rendimiento del español es todo un sube y baja.

Por lo general los arranques de temporada son algo atravesados, los jugadores vienen de vacaciones prácticamente, y aunque juegan un pequeño campamento previo al inicio, eso no es más que calentar y agarrar condiciones, además de eso también las nuevas incorporaciones deben adaptarse al resto del equipo, sin embargo ya vamos para la 5ta jornada, deben mejorar en esos detalles, y cuanto antes mejor, pues el sábado reciben al Inter de Milan en el famoso derby "della madonnina".

El partido de hoy contra el Sassuolo tenía algo de morbo y buenos recuerdos para los rossoneris, justamente contra ellos se coronaron campeones el año pasado, pero en esta oportunidad el juego no fue en nada parecido al de aquel entonces, una primera mitad donde dominaron la mayor parte de la misma, pero no tuvieron ni una oportunidad clara para anotar, Leao como dije anteriormente con un ímpetu tremendo para atacar pero sin resolver la jugada, de hecho en varias oportunidades “peco” de egoísta, y esto es algo que ya se le está criticando, aunque no es nada nuevo en su futbol, siempre ha sido muy individual, algo que es entendible, es un jugador muy difícil de parar y tiene grandes habilidades, pero cuando no se está atinado es mejor dar el pase.

Pioli inicio con rotación en sus dirigidos, Saelemaekers y Pobega formaron parte del 11 inicial, sustituyendo a Tonali y Junior Mesías quienes entrarían más adelante para tratar de dar claridad y profundidad al juego. El desempeño de los titulares no fue productivo, el belga perdió muchos balones, su nivel estuvo muy por debajo de lo requerido, lo que me lleva a recordar las palabras de Vito de Palma cuando dice que no ve a Saelemaekers como jugador del Milan, algo de lo cual estoy un poco de acuerdo.

Luego de que el Sassuolo aguanto gran parte de la primera mitad, se adaptó al nivel rossonero y pudo levantar su juego, comenzó a complicar con las llegadas de Berardi y los extremos hasta que consiguió un penal importante, que de no ser por Maignan se habrían ido con ventaja al descanso. El preciado gol hizo falta a este encuentro, y el segundo tiempo fue bastante trabado, se perdió el ritmo por medio de faltas y lesiones por ambos bandos, tanto asi que el partido termino sin emociones que comentar.

Definitivamente esperaba más para este encuentro, fue algo aburrido al final de cuentas, un Sassuolo mermado de calidad obtuvo un empate con sabor a triunfo, mientras que los campeones siguen jugando sin mostrar ideas claras en su juego. Charles De Ketelaere jugo poco, pienso que si Pioli le hubiese dado más minutos el juego del Milan habría fluido más en la ofensiva, aun asi no brillo mucho, las pocas veces que recibió balón mostro cierta fragilidad en el momento de ser marcado, quizás deba mejorar su contextura, pues en la liga italiana se defiende bastante fuerte físicamente. La recuperación de Simón Kjaer fue algo muy agradable de ver, el danés era extrañado por la saga rossonera, pero después de un largo tiempo de inactividad, lo hizo muy bien en su regreso, espero que pueda mantenerse saludable. Por último y para concluir, la Serie A arranco este año con paridad en muchos equipos, la intensidad y la competitividad se está observando en cada partido, y aunque no todos los encuentros son vistosos, cada club está buscando cumplir sus objetivos particulares, algunos el Scudetto, otros la permanencia, y algunos de ellos competiciones europeas, veamos cómo se desarrolla el torneo, pero las expectativas siguen en aumento, debería por lo menos ser más emocionante que el año pasado.
