My Actifit Report Card: February 19 2024
Hello Actifitters!
We were at Home Depot searching for some construction tools when my toddler noticed this traffic cone on display. He excitedly ran to it and exclaimed, "Huge cone, mom! Look!" He has a lot of toy traffic cones at home that he lays on the floor along with his truck and other toy cars, so seeing a real one really made his day.
He took his time playing next to it and adoring how "huge," almost as tall as him, it was, while my husband and the salesman were busy talking about the construction tools. They put tools on a test and did some demo work while I was in the corner, paying close attention to my little kid.
He couldn't get enough of it, trying to make convincing face and checking if his father would permit him to take home one, even just the small one. His tactics didn't work, but he explained well to him that it's too big to be his toy, and it will just add to his huge pile of toys. We will buy him one if he will let go of half of his toys. The deal so sank in to him that he decided to go away from the huge cone.
