Teacher's Day Celebration - My Actifit Report Card: October 6 2023
Happy weekend Actifitters!
Last night, my son notified me that they would have a simple celebration of teacher's day at school and asked if I could make a chocolate waffle for all his classmates because his two seatmates liked the waffle I made him that day. I said why not? I still have enough ingredients to make that much, so there's no problem.
I woke up at four in the morning to prepare his breakfast and the waffles that he would be bringing. I don't use any instant mix in my pancakes and waffles, so I measure everything from scratch.
I'm using a small waffle molder, so making triple batches of my usual recipe takes time, but I was able to finish it before waking my kids to get ready.
I made two trays of waffles, and I guess it was more than enough so his classmates could still have some to take home.
His teacher shared this final image in our group chat, and she granted me her permission to use it.The kids played some fun games, made greeting cards for their teachers, and enjoyed the food.
