Yesterday was my husband's birthday, and I cooked spaghetti for him and the kids. We believe that eating pasta or noodles on your birthday will give you a long life. I have no idea where that belief originated; I just followed tradition because who doesn't want a long life, right? Then his work sent some pizza and cake for him as a present. We have more than enough food for the four of us, so I shared some with my neighbors.
