let's play..

my favorite chess memory was i was in a tournament at my high school. only a bunch of nerds and geeks. (i guess i am one too, but i was more of a band geek)

anyway, after a couple games, I was in the final against this one especially geeky guy who would rock and hum as he played. he took forever to move, i was feeling sick that day and was playing speed chess.. going for a scholar's mate. I did it. beat him in 4 moves. :)

I played the teacher who made the tourney and managed to get up a bishop, but his game was just too good..

⁤It sounds like a fantastic experience when you took part in an epic chess tournament. ⁤⁤Your heart must have pounded as you delivered scholar’s mate to your geeky oponnent knocking him down in only four moves. ⁤⁤In the end, you did not beat your lecturer although it is quite possible that his knowledge and skill would have been very crucial for teaching purposes. ⁤⁤Keep up playing chess excellently!
