Blast From The Past, Cheat Day & My Actifit Report Card: February 25 2024

I got a Facebook friend request from someone unexpected, and it took me by surprise. After accepting the request, I was even more surprised when I received a message from him a few minutes later, asking how I had been. At first, I hesitated, wondering if it was really him or someone pretending to be him. However, as we spoke, it became clear that it was indeed him. Oh my God. It was a blast from the past, as I used to have a massive ‘crush’ on him during our high school days, which feels like a lifetime ago. Haha! As we chatted, memories came flooding back. He even mentioned that he knew about me having a crush on him and said it was mutual, although he had many other girls he liked back then. Whether that was true or not, I couldn't be bothered to find out, to be honest. It was just so nice talking to him and reminiscing about the old days. It felt ‘Young’ and Oh yes, he was really handsome back then. He has that Tom Cruise look which was probably why so many girls had a crush on him. He was actually my one and only crush back then. It's funny looking back on it now...☺️

After the quick cleaning, my housemate and I decided to go out because we were both feeling a bit restless. Our initial plan was to just pick up some essentials, but even though we had already eaten at home, we couldn't resist grabbing some yogurt ice cream. It wasn't quite as delicious as Ilao Ilao, but it hit the spot. Then, we made our way to McDonald's. We were both already full, but we couldn't resist the temptation of a double-quarter pounder. It was a satisfying end to our impromptu out and about. 😆
