Barking Wake Up Call & My Actifit Report Card: December 17 2023
The day started with no other choice but to wake up early, courtesy of the dogs going mad with barking at the door. It turned out my friend's son had arrived from the Philippines, and the dogs, particularly Chia, considered him a stranger, hence the enthusiastic barking. Seizing the opportunity of an early start, I decided to incorporate some exercise and began by washing a massive carpet, giving my biceps a good workout. I couldn't bear leaving it unattended in a corner without a thorough cleaning especially knowing that Miki had pooped and peed on it not once but thrice. Sheesh.
Following that, I vacuumed and mopped the entire house. It took me hours, and my step count soared to almost 8k by the time I finished. I also had to keep the dogs out, and they patiently waited for the floor to dry before I allowed them back in.
Two hours later, my friend picked me up, and we went together to do the grocery shopping for the meat to be marinated for tomorrow's party. Before heading home, we decided to have dinner, ensuring there would be no worries about meal preparation afterward. Yep, that's how lazy we are when it comes to prepping and cooking our meals. Lol.
