Poolside Woes & My Actifit Report Card: December 7 2023

I went for a dip in the pool at our staycation house as the weather was a little gloomy. It took about an hour, and since my friend said that wearing an Apple Watch while swimming was feasible, I decided not to take it off as it would add to my steps of course. It surprised me though as 30 minutes after it turned off, and even though I tried to switch it on, it would not turn on. I took it to AV Electronics for repair, only to be told that they couldn't do about it as the water damage had affected it, and S4 is not repairable here in Brunei. 😞

After that, when I told my friend about it, he advised me to soak it in rice for a day or two. Fortunately, brown rice is in a container with the owner of this house, so off it goes! In addition, another friend of mine was offering a super low price for his S7 smartwatch which was preloved and was purchased last March. He bought an S8 recently which is why he was selling. I'm relieved since I wouldn't have enough money to buy a new one and he said I can pay for it for two months starting next month. He will come over a bit later to send the watch since, I mentioned to him, that I don't want to miss my Actifit steps tomorrow. Phew!

I did think about skipping the fitness studio since I intended to get straight to a restaurant and have dinner following my afternoon job. In the end, I decided to just go as AV Electronics is close to the fitness studio anyway and I wanted to get rid of my frustration. Since my watch broke and I didn't have my belt bag with me, I decided to put my phone in my pocket to track my activity steps during the hour-long K-pop fitness dance session.😅
