Fine Friday: My Actifit Report Card: April 28 2023

Finally got home and am now in my PJ’s. Phew, a short day at morning work but quite long with the afternoon tasks.

This is the theatre at our school. Our school assemblies usually take place on Fridays, and I don't usually accompany the kids there. However, today was different because the teachers and learning assistants were busy, so we, the learning support assistants, were given the responsibility of taking our year groups to the theatre. There were three of us in our year group. It was all right, nothing extraordinary, and there were no certificates given as well, but the teacher chosen to lead the assembly read us a story about the Magic Ramen Book. It was a picture book that tells the life of Momofuku Ando, the inventor of Nissin Noodles, and how he overcame obstacles to create instant ramen noodles in the years following World War II to feed the world's starvation. An interesting story, I thought, since I didn't know the details of how ramen actually gained popularity.

Then I went home as morning work finishes at 11.45 every Fridays, napped then went to my afternoon job which was a playdate at Time Zone, an Indoor playground, and a bit of an arcade as well. Oh yeah, adults can sit and eat too while supervising the kids. But since our kids were Special Needs we try to follow them around and keep an eye from a distance making sure to observe ‘proper behaviour’. Shame though, as some adults look at our kids judgementally when they should know better. They even try to pull their kids away which always makes me glare at them and want to punch them in the face. Kidding. But no, Half meant actually. Eeeeek.LOL

Well, it is not like they own the place, and if they don’t want others with them, they should go to planet Mars. I always say to my colleagues. 😆

Our kids bring their Aunties (Amahs/maid) with them and they buy our food too. Awesome right? Hehe. I had that Chicken boxing and watermelon juice while our kids had French fries.

With my fave kid and his aunt in it, this photo is my favourite of the day. The backdrop is just so delicious that it made me want one, but I should be commended for not having one. 🤣
