Balogun Keeps Pace With Top Strikers
Arsenal-owned, Folarin Balogun, who is on loan at Reims has made quite the impact in France, in his second loan spell. He spent some time in the championship last season with Boro, but this season he has really come into his own and looks like an exciting prospect for th gunners. While he is English he is of Nigerian heritage, with the Super Eagles keen to het him capped.
His form has been great in France scoring 10 goals in 16 games and, recently made the headlines after setting a new record. Folarin Balogun, set this record by scoring twice as his team defeated Stade Rennais F.C.

Balogun became the under-21 player with the most goals in Europe’s top five divisions. The only players with more goals than the striker in Ligue 1 so far this season are the two Paris Saint-Germain talents Kylian Mbappé (13) and Neymar (11).

While he is tied with former Arsenal striker Lacazette on 10 goals, he could have extended his run tonight but did not make the match squad for the Lille game which ended in a draw.
