Arsenal Put in 5 Star Performance
Arsenal put in a 5 star performance with a statement victory against bottom club Nottingham Forrest, they desperately needed the win following a loss in midweek and a disappointment draw against The Saints last weekend
Arsenal were quick out the blocks and Martinelli gave them the lead from a Saka cross before saka got injured! His replacement Nelson did a fine job coming on bagging a brace and an assist and really gave Mikel something to think about for the next few games
I hope this performance is a catalyst For the rest of his season and if he does well we might have found our solution to having another wide man in the squad
One disappointment was that Jesus wasn’t able to break his duck and extends his goal drought to 7 games despite having several chances to score.
Martin Odegaard and Partey managed to collect goals for themselves and Arsenal also managed to keep their first clean sheet in ages which will do the defence a world of good in building confidence.
The win moves us back onto top spot for now and as we work towards the six pointer against city that will come sooner or later.
